2/7/26 As I repeat the staff are key. Potential greatness. The counter person is a charmer she asked great questions and genuinely locked us in to eat there. The staff was personable and had a great invested feel. Atmosphere it a decent size isle evenly spread with tables and eclectic vibes. However I ordered Pashsas omelet as you can see presentation is okay, full plate and nice portions. Here’s why a 3 star meal flavor it’s basic with so much going for a place from name to location to vibe low prices and staff they unfortunately drop the ball in the unique experience that makes the meal memorable. If they find a signature flavor they can be great till then they will be gatekeepers to the elite dinning experience they could be.

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years (since the summer of 1998) and love this place. By now I have tried everything on the menu. Some of my stand out favorites are: Shawarma on a baguette, Swordfish Steak, Kefka Kabob on lavash, the Exotic Salad, Essouaria Omelette, the Royal Feast, Tangine (really any kind), Turkish Coffee and the Moroccan Mint tea – just to name a few.

The food was so good, fresh and the meat was perfect and not fatty! We tried beef shawarma sandwich and chicken couscous, it was so good.
Prices are very convenient compared to other places. Can’t wait to be back again and taste the Moroccan mint tea !

A true Northampton staple. They have been serving delicious food and drinks for many years. Recently had the falafel wrap and it didn’t disappoint.

Stopped for a quick lunch on a road trip. Outrageously good food at great value. We ordered both a lamb sandwich and a chicken with couscous and both were great. Expect no-frills and some level of self-service. Highly recommended.

Cool place for Moroccan style food.
Many many options for vegetarians, big portion size for a good prices.
There is both indoor and outdoor sitting, and it’s in self service style.

Delightful Moroccan food, which is Mediterranean with a French influence. Recommend the “tagines”, terrific stews served in a clay pot. Also an array of pastries such as baklava and various nut based cookies. Plenty of meals that can be either vegetarian or have meat. Many that are dairy free. The service is friendly, order at the counter, they serve your food at your table, you bus your own table afterward. Smallish seating area. Must go through kitchen to get to restroom. Nice outdoor seating during warmer months.

This place rocks!! Moroccan food is stellar, all the staff are so kind, and casual atmosphere makes it a great low-pressure restaurant to go alone or with friends. Middle eastern desserts are a plus 🙂 Literally could not have dreamt of a better place!

Great prices, inconsistent quality. I’ve had bureks here that were too watery, burnt, outright frozen in the middle, under-cooked, and just right, but today was the first time they served it with a moldy slice of pepper on top.
I didn’t bother sending it back because when I’ve seen customers here complain about food quality issues, the only option they’ve been given has been to purchase the item again.
The kitchen staff, most servers and the owner are incredibly professional and create a good atmosphere. They are the reason this is not a one-star review.
Most customers are townies, tourists and young couples. College classes sometimes meet here at the end of the semester. It’s clearly a beloved mainstay, but it needs Gordon Ramsay.
