Places like this are getting harder to find. I like to support family owned places when I can.

Wonderful burgers and loved the homemade potato chips ! The breakfast special was like mom used to make . Our waitress and the staff are friendly, accommodating people who offer southern charm and hospitality. The atmosphere of the restaurant took me to the 50’s malt and ice cream bar from Mayberry in the Andy Griffith show and the place is in the heart of the vintage , old timey , southern towns of yesterday year . Lots to see within walking distance of the restaurant. I highly recommend !!

Busy little restaurant in the heart of Cullman. Decided to drop by for breakfast and try it out. Waited maybe 10 minutes for a table, not bad! We sat down and the waitress was quick to take our order. Food came out quick as well. I had pancakes and a country ham and egg biscuit. Very good! We will definitely return.

Very good and surprisingly inexpensive food. I had a buffalo bacon burger with fries and a drink and it only barely topped $10. It was all a pretty good portion as well. Try getting that at a place like Hardee’s and you’ll pay half again as much.

Service was great. Plenty of seating. Right in down town Cullman. So you can venture over and look at Weiss Cottage and the chapel.
My friend and I both got hamburger with fries and one chicken finger(We wanted to try the chicken).
Something you should know and they probably will tell you but in case they don’t, these are meatloaf hamburgers. They aren’t quite like the meatloaf you make at home they are heavier on the other ingredients rather meat.
The hamburger was different and I am glad I tried it though.
I would love to come back here for breakfast one day.

Great home town cafe’. Very nice staff and great prices for those on a budget. I got the Southwest Burger which was made like a smash burger, my husband had the regular burger and it was made the same. The fries were great! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I will definitely come back! It starts getting busy at noon so come early. They close at 3pm.

Heed! Their burgers are cheap because they are made the “depression” style with egg and bread crumbs. They didn’t tell me and I had to send it back. The Greek salad was very good but the dressing was bottled. Neat atmosphere.

My friend picked me up at the truckstop and took me here for breakfast. I was not disappointed. The best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted like the food I ate growing up on a farm. What a treat.
