We had a great lunch here! Cozy place, clean, friendly service. Excellent menu choices and daily specials. We had the haddock cakes, which tasted wonderful, along with delicious house made potato chips. We also had the bangers and beans. Seemed like an odd dish but highly recommended by our server. She was right on! Bangers with sauerkraut, cabbage, and carrots. But the highlight was the crock of beans. Very different but tastiest I have ever had. My new favorite. Topped it off with a nice glass of Guinness. There are a lot of other menu items that sound good and get great reviews. We will be back to try some of them!!!

We were fortunate enough to get their one window seat in a small alcove. We had a wonderful view of the street and the noise level was less than other areas. Fish and chips was great, but it was literally potato chips, not fries as most expect. Overall we had a great time there, happy with everything.

Hannah W was an awesome waitstaff! Food was TREMENDOUS! Steak, burgers, fish sandwich and boiled dinner (all with sides) exceeded our expectations! Bonus points for brown bread (swoon!) Beer selection and cocktails were top notch. LEO friendly! (We originally tried to go to a brewery across the street but were told by the hostess “were the full, try across the street.” -so glad we did; best meal we had in MAine Vaca! (Only minor gripe is the other waitstaff putting chairs upside down on tables around us at 2030hrs, (plenty of other patrons eating) was kind of a turn off! Hope to come back to try other offerings!!! 🙂

Feel at home with friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. It’s got charm and character. Ordered standard pub fare and it was pretty standard. From reading other reviews It seems the traditional irish entrées and burgers are a hit.

Good food, good service, good value. Comfortable authentic Irish pub with great Irish dishes, the corned beef pot is excellent, everything from the corned beef, cabbage and potatoes cooked to petfection.

The soup, the bangers and beans plate, and the side of mash were all authentic and delicious. This was a lovely and unexpected find on our way through Ellsworth to our destination. A super cool old pub appearance to the bar area as well tops off the atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant.

The place is clean and has a good atmosphere. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The wings were warm but not hot temperature-wise and had a good flavor. The chips were done well. The sandwich was fine. The potato salad wasn’t great.

Great dinner and lunch at Finn’s! Twice this week Both servers provided us food recommendations and took good care of us. Meatloaf dinner with potato salad and beets; Irish nachos appetizer (twice so good!), Cork chicken Ruben and friend has the Salt and Pepper haddock dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and beets. We enjoyed everything! Great flavors with the fish and meatloaf and the potato chips in the nachos we’re thinking and crispy with bacon, sour cream, jalapenos, salsa and green onions. We had the extra bonus of hearing a few classic rock songs from the live band on Sunday evening too! We will be back for sure.

Delicious good very friendly service. Got the meatloaf it was very good . I have also had the bangers and they were really good as well . The Shepard’s pie my friend had was also delicious. Will definitely be going back and trying more things
