After they couldn’t find the order, I offered to go inside so we didn’t hold up the drive thru line.
Spoke with the manager Luz. In the end, after 45 minutes, I was told I need to pay again and wait for a refund, even though the mobile order was not cancelled, and I was not refunded.
While Luz was kind, she was completely unhelpful, and I left without food.
Leaving the review here, as I tried to share with McDonald’s directly and they make it incredibly difficult to leave feedback. They aren’t interested.
-edit after putting it in the microwave it was fine and tasted good also I got a large fry and it was nice, fresh and hot.
7/30 – It’s been seven months. My grandson is visiting us. He wants a Sausage McGriddle. I couldn’t say no. I place the order; “Two sausage and eggs biscuits- one of them with cheese. Three sausage McGriddles.” They reply, “do you want cheese on the Sausage McGriddles.” I say, “No thank you, I want three Sausage McGriddles, I only want cheese on one of the Sausage Egg Biscuits.” Their screen is out. You can’t check the order. It charges to my app. I pull forward and they hand me a bag of three Sausage Egg Biscuits (two with cheese) and six Sausage McGriddles. I’m not unpacking my grandson from his car seat to go and fix the order. I gave the extra food to the homeless guy on 1764.
8/1- Today (approximately 12:00 PM) My grandson wants a Happy Meal. I order it, a Big Mac, and a 10 piece chicken nugget meal. Pay with app. Pull up to window and they start handing me two kids drinks. It turns out, they charged me for two Happy Meals. Same problem. You can’t check the order on their broken screen, I can’t get my grandson out of the car and go in, Ice cream from HEB is starting to melt. I tell the guy to keep the other Happy Meal. I paid for it, but just left it there.
I’m not making this up. This has to be one of the most screwed up fast food restaurants in the US. It is mind boggling bad. Thank GOD there are choices other than this. You couldn’t drag me into that location again. Three times in a row. -THREE SEPARATE TIMES.
Don’t know why I keep coming back to this particular McDonald’s. Always bad experience. Curbside is apparently only available during the day not at night. So I order for walk in and pick up. What should have been a simple plain hamburger and small fry turned into a 30 min wait and got a cheeseburger instead. Manager said I ordered incorrectly and I told him he must not be able to read correctly. I explained in English and Spanish what I wanted – was even on my mobile app and it was still wrong. Not ever going to this particular McDonald’s again!! Nope ugggg
