I enjoyed Legacy Kitchen twice during my stay in NOLA. My first itme was for brekky. I got eggs benedict and beignets. This was my first meal in NOLA and it was AMAZING. The beignets were big and fluffy and covered in powdered sugar. The eggs benedict were on point, the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, a hearty way to start the day.
My second time I got lunch to go. I ordered the Steak frites medium and the cook was perfect. If I had time I would’ve stayed to dine in and enjoy but I couldn’t.

landed new year’s eve and walked here from my hotel without doing much research cuz i was hungry and just wanted to eat. there was zero wait (around 8pm) but they were pretty busy inside but still a few empty tables.
service was good, food came in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. liked my drink as well.
4 ⭐️ because the beignets were mushy inside.
i’m back home now and still think about that catfish

Walking in, we were able to immediately get the attention of the hostess, Tracy, who went out of her way to re-print an updated reservations list for us. That was where the great service ended.

After being seated, it took 45 minutes to get the attention of any waiter/waitress to place an order, and another 15 minutes to ask for water for the table. We had to physically go up to what seemed like the floor manager to ask for water. The waiter was extremely rude – one of our party was kindly waving to try to get his attention to order (after 40 minutes of being seated), and he mockingly put his arm up to wave back, then joked with the table he was next to that he had no idea what we wanted, that we were the ones being rude, and that he should “go and see what they want”. It would have been fine if he came over, but he never did.

After placing our order, it was 45 minutes before getting our first dish, and another 15-20 before we got the rest. The crab cakes were really good! The tacos were a bit small but also pretty good. Chicken sandwich was tough and chewy, the shrimp po’boy needed a lot of Tabasco to add flavor. Fries were good, but warm at most.

Overall, we were there for over 2 hours. Disappointed to say the least.

If you are craving authentic New Orleans comfort food, then look no further. Our party ordered the iconic Roast Beef and Shrimp Po-boys. The gravy-soaked roast beef and crispy shrimp were both sloppy masterpieces. I had the Chicken and Waffles. This generous portion had crispy, moist chicken surrounded by crunchy waffles smothered in a sweet maple syrup. The service was super friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for comforting, savory New Orleans treats, then you will not be disappointed.

I went to dinner here with 3 other people. I went because I saw they were participating in the September Vegan Challenge. I ordered something off that menu. My dinner mates ordered off the regular menu.

They were out of my first choice so I settled for the vegan burrito. To be frank my burrito was dry and bland. I added hot sauce to it and that made it edible. Mind you my burrito looked… a bit different from what’s normally classified as a burrito, but I try not to place too much emphasis on how things look rather it’s how it tastes.

I chose not to tell the restaurant because one person in our party was already sending her steak back and requested it be taken off the bill, which they did.

Kay was our server and despite the food being a miss for 3 out of 4 of us she made the entire ordeal much better.

I recently visited the evening of Feb 15 at 6:30 with my family of 10 and encountered a hostess that was absolutely unprofessional and rude. Let me say that we ate here for lunch on Friday, Feb 13 and had a wonderful experience! We asked her for a table and was told the only table that could accommodate us was occupied but people were almost finished eating. When we could tell that they were taking a while,(25 minutes later) we asked if we could split up since there were empty tables. She exclaimed, “Absolutely not!” We were first in line at the podium She kept walking around the table, very dramatic with a large fan saying she was hot. She also told another person that she had only a half hour more of this! What hostess does this????? She leaves the podium for at least 10 minutes and no one saw here. The person behind us asked if there was even a hostess. Then, she proceeded to sit in the waiting area with obvious friends who had just walked in. She talked to them for at least 10 minutes! When she finally came back to where we were at the podium, I asked her if that was still our table since the people left and the table was cleared. She answered me, very rudely, and pointed her finger at me saying, “I told you that I would call you!” I told her she wasn’t calling anyone because we were leaving! If this is the best your restaurant can hire for a hostess, your business is in trouble. We are locals snd would have eaten here again. I can assure you that I will never eat at your restaurant again! It is very sad that tourists had to encounter her, too. What a bad impression she left! She needs to learn that customers are the ones who help pay her salary. Pathetic customer service!!!! Wish I could have left 0 stars!

Restaurant conveniently located by hotel so we stopped in for dinner. The food and service were fantastic. We especially loved the ribeye with the side of Brussels sprouts and the bread pudding! The decor is great with the warehouse look blended in.

I went into this location for happy hour. There are cool choices that differed from the westbank location’s. I felt as though the bartender made my mom and I feel like we were an inconvenience ( ) but the food was just okay. I only got two things: lobster rangoons and crawfish dip. (smoke shrimp dip is served cold). the rangoons were fried too hard to eat comfortably and the cheese dip originally came out warm-ish and got cold fast. We were able to get it warmed so that was fixed but I would probably only revisit during another time of they day when more care can be put into the food. Look forward to giving another review in the future!

Went here last night for dinner with my parents and my sister.

The host took five minutes to seat us. We waited fifteen minutes until the server even came around to greet us.

We ordered a bottle of wine, soups all around, and two appetizers to share. After twenty minutes our soups were delivered. (Before the appetizers) The soups were fantastic! We waited another twenty minutes for our first appetizer to appear, which was also good. Unfortunately after sitting there another twenty minutes wondering where our other appetizer was, we waved down the server and cancelled the second appetizer.

She acted surprised that we never received it. She went to the kitchen and was told they had run out of shrimp. The server should have been more aware of our table. How could you not know we hadn’t received our food if that’s your table? She only had three tables.

Overall we were there for an hour and a half and we were only served soups and one appetizer for four people!

Our server was one of the friendliest I’ve ever had; shame the actual service didn’t match that level of warmth.”

“Five stars for the server’s personality, one star for the actual service. Regrettably, we won’t be back.”
