I stopped by this location tonight with my young son. It turned out that they were just barely closing for the night. The two young ladies inside were very obliging and kind, offering to reassemble the slicer they had just cleaned and to put the nozzles back on the soda machine. They were very courteous and obliging and did not act at all put out. Their highly professional service was greatly appreciated, especially since I was there with a young child. I did my best to tip appropriately. I really cannot praise them highly enough for going the extra mile for our family — please give them both a raise or a bonus. Preferably both! Thank you again!

Very friendly staff. Becca greeted us with a smile and was very friendly and helpful making our sandwiches. Typical Jersey Mike’s quality on the food. This location is a little cramped, but no biggie. They seem to be plugged into the local community a little more than others.

Our takeout order was over 35 minutes past the quoted pickup time, which is an unacceptable gap between the estimated time and reality. I understand automated systems can overpromise and restaurants can get slammed, but the bigger issue was how it was handled.

Staff prioritized in-person orders while online orders kept falling further behind, and when I asked if they could try to catch up on online orders I was told aggressively, “You can either wait 30 minutes, or you can wait 30 minutes.” A little communication and courtesy would have gone a long way.

I recently just got banned from the entire country that is Canada and lost my job (no I don’t want to talk about it) I figured the next best thing I could do was move to the states. Getting past the border was surprisingly easy and it only cost like $400, I just have to lay low until ice calms down. After a long journey I ended up in Lehi Utah of all places. I was starving due to the fact I had been traveling in the back of a semi truck underneath wooden floorboards with 14 other immigrants for the past 3 days. At last I was finally released and given my freedom. Starving, I searched for the closest place to eat. I step foot inside the traverse city jersey mikes and am greeted by a wonderful smile and a hello from none other then Arika Sayle. She kindly asked me what I would like to order. As I hear the sizzling of grills behind the counter my eyes begin to dart from one side of the menu to the other. I can’t decide. Arika, who can tell I’m struggling reassures me that it’s alright and that I can take as much time as I need. Her strong sense of comfort and warmth eases my nerves and mind. “Can I get a number 3 please?” I ask. Before I can even change my mind or think about what I want to drink, arika is already working on the wich (short for sandwich) and before I could even reach the end of the counter to the register, the wich (sandwich) is already ready to be devoured. I had never seen such sandwich making skills in my life. As she begins to ring me up I came to a shocking and disappointing realization. I gave all of my money do Javier to get me across the border, I had nothing left. Arika, noticing this look of disappointment on my face tells me that she is more than willing to pay for my order. She covered the whole thing, Every. Single. Dime. Jersey mikes, you have my upmost respect and business for the rest of my life. And to you arika, thank you for being such a kind introduction to America.

This Jersey Mike’s location is great! My family and I come frequently. The staff is friendly. Each time I walk in they welcome me. The food is also made promptly. I usually do online orders and most of the time my food is made on time or ahead of time. Shout out to Jack, Jackson, and Jessi for making my order today and doing a fantastic job.

Just had the most life-changing sub at this Jersey Mike’s tonight! This is a girly by the way… I just use my husband’s account to post reviews due to *stalkers*.

Anyway, the first thing I heard when I entered the establishment was, “you did a really good job restocking the chips.” A young woman whose name I learned is Amelia was complimenting a young man whose name I learned is Aiden. I looked at the shelf where the chips had been restocked and it was so neat and straight and perfectly spaced that I excitedly exclaimed, “the chips DO look really good! It really pleases my OCD.” Amelia heard and giggled (maybe) and said something to the extent of, “that’s why I’m good at my job I think,” or something else… honestly I didn’t quite hear what she said and I was too hungry and tired at that point in the night to be a polite human being and ask her to repeat herself. Sorry, Amelia. :/

But MY LORD did that all change when I bit into the perfectly-sauced sautéed chicken and onion and green pepper GIANT buffalo chicken sub for two with lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers, salt and pepper… and I don’t know, MAGIC?! I was instantly transported to a better mood. The flavor and temperature was just perfection. The sauce level alone?! I came to learn the buffalo chicken sub happens to be Amelia’s sub of expertise, and also the sub her favorite aunt orders [sorry other aunties 😉 ] (I don’t know why I used brackets outside of the closed parenthesis used in a winky face smile, but hopefully you’ll excuse it, as it felt right in the moment.

I was out pouring with delight to Amelia about this God-tier sandwich she had crafted for my hungry moody husband and me. I told her the truth, which was that this sandwich was making me feel high (in a good way), and after a few bites I had entered a state of nirvana. This sub was that perfect. And I was already excited by the state of the chip shelf. Little did I know that would be the least of my experience tonight, although I will say it elevated it too, so shout out Aiden.

But honestly, aside from that one epic toasty grilled turkey bacon and American cheese sandwich with banana peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce with a little mayo and just a dab of mustard that my mom made for lunch on a test day in high school (and even a couple times while I was in my hometown masters program that I didn’t complete and instead went for a doctorate later which I did complete), that was the best damn sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. And SINCE you bring up the fact that I’ve graduated, allow me to say, “you can trust me. I’m a doctor.”

If you’ve read this far, I applaud you . You have a greater attention span than most. For Amelia and Aiden’s sake I hope upper management as well as those two employees get a chance to read this (and hopefully they are also afforded an extra break as this message is long enough to take 2 to 3 business days to read).

By the way, I should be gatekeeping this little tip that Amelia gave me, but I’m going to rock your world with it instead: order the chicken bacon ranch with the onion and green peppers grilled with the chicken and ask for buffalo sauce to be added to your sandwich. That is my next order at this particular Jersey Mike’s, ESPECIALLY if I can confirm Amelia is working that day. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but truthfully, so worth it to get such an exceptional sandwich and honestly a pretty fun experience. For sure 10 out of 10. I pray every sandwich goddess has the skills and possibly OCD like my new favorite person, Amelia does. What a queen. Give her a raise, or a bonus or something because she is getting y’all repeat customers with her epic abilities. A true magician blessed me with a better night tonight through a sub sandwich, and now I’m on the treadmill verbally typing this review because I got the ENERGY I needed from this Jersey Mike’s buffalo chicken giant sub split by two (I even had about half of my half left over, so I get to enjoy it AGAIN. Yes!) Anyway, thanks to those of you who made it to the end.

Bottom line, for your own good, please visit.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit, but the wait time was incredibly long, especially for a lunch rush. I stood in line for what felt like forever while only one employee was actually working and doing his best to handle every single order on his own. The rest of the staff were just standing around and not helping, which was frustrating to watch.

The one guy working was clearly overwhelmed and trying to juggle too much at once. He asked me to wait to tell him my toppings, but then wrapped up my sandwiches without even asking me what I wanted. I left disappointed, not just because of the mistake, but because the whole experience took way too long and felt unorganized.

I understand things can get busy, but customers shouldn’t have to wait that long when there are other employees available to help.

I took my girlfriend here for lunch, and we both really liked the vibe of the place. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Arika was the staff member who made mine and her sandwich, it was lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend coming here. Overall, it was a great experience for both of us.
