Super cute restaurant, recommended to us by a local, and it did not disappoint. My husband wasn’t feeling his best that night, but we still enjoyed our visit. He felt his dish was a bit spicy, though that may have been because he wasn’t feeling well.

I ordered a chicken dish and it was delicious, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. You’ll definitely leave full. I also had a margarita on the rocks, and it was perfectly made.

The decor and ambience are beautiful, filled with well‑maintained live plants, and since we visited during the holidays, the Christmas decorations made it even more charming.

The staff was outstanding. They were professional, friendly, and very attentive. When they noticed my husband wasn’t eating much, they even offered to bring him an entirely different meal. That level of care was amazing.

We would absolutely return the next time we’re in the area. Parking is available on the street meter or via valet.
A plus that the restaurant is a walk away from the beach so after your meal you can enjoy a nice stroll and beautiful views.

This place was surprisingly good. I had the chimichanga and it was quite delicious. The salsa that they bring is little spicy which I love. My niece had the Berea tacos and she enjoyed them. They give you plenty of food at the service was nice. I would recommend this place for a good birthday dinner there were a couple of parties going on and family having dinner so it’s a good place for big groups. The only thing I don’t like is the valet parking which is $10. It’s right near the beach so that was awesome you can have dinner and then walk down to the beach.

Love this place, we come here every time we are on travel and it never disappoints, even the staff has gotten to know us. Jalapeno margarita is great, the guac is awesome and the tacos are as authentic as sitting on a beach in Cabo. The interior is amazing, two levels with live trees and plants. Huge menu, as you can see my co workers were overwhelmed with all the potential goodness. Highly advise saving room for the dessert sopapillas

Pancho’s is great. We go to the one here in Manhattan Beach and also the one on Centinela in Culver City. Both are great.

This one is so cute. There is so much to look at inside. It is always clean and can get crowded. I don’t know if they take reservations. This time we got food to go and all of it was great.

What really stands out is their guacamole. It is thick and loaded with avocado and always fresh. Their tacos are wonderful and there is not a burrito you will not love–but I get the sour cream on the side. Their rice and beans are tasty and they make their own tortillas. To me, that is a big deal.

They have a great happy hour. Their margaritas are so good–I order mine without salt, but you do you.

The prices are fair for what you get.

I think you will be happy here.

We had a pleasant experience overall. The staff was welcoming and genuinely kind, which made us feel comfortable right away. The atmosphere was nice and unique, giving the place its own special charm. The food tasted fresh and the ingredients were clearly high quality, though the flavors just weren’t quite to our liking. My only real issue was that my daughter’s order came out incorrect. Despite that, we appreciated the friendly service and the fresh preparation.

Pancho’s is a Manhattan Beach institution. Typical “SoCal” Mexican food, it was a great moment to reconnect with old friends over margaritas, tacos, and salsa.

Service pleasant, polite, and efficient.

I veered from my standard taco/enchilada combo and ordered shrimp and mango tacos. It was delicious and perfect after the work day. The classic margarita on the rocks completed the meal (note the empty glass in the photo lol).

The beach is three blocks away. Great for a walk after. Street parking or valet parking available.

10.25% sales tax!!! Are you kidding me??? Not the restaurants fault, but what person voted for this? I’ll stay in the OC.
Very nice spot with lots of history, great food and friendly people. $6 to Valet park though on a weekday afternoon was a bit much. Not the friendliest valet either.

I brought my mom and her lifetime friend to a Mother’s Day brunch. Pancho’s is a great place to dine, beautiful atmosphere, very Mexican traditional decor.
I must review the food and other things that should have been taken care of before opening the business on this day. We arrived at 11 a.m., and the business opened at 10 a.m., we sat down at our table (not balance, and it moved or tilted with the slightest pressure) it made our brunch very uncomfortable and unsafe. I noticed the plate dishes as they were being delivered, and lots of plate with rice and beans were spilled over onto the tray, this made the presentation pretty bad, although very tasty food the presentation very poorly executed.

But, to start off our order, I noticed that when I was flipping the menu, browsing I noticed that our menus were dirty with tomato sauce stains and easy quick clean with a cloth could of done it, the restaurant was not busy at this particular time, when we checked in, the host was just standing, doing nothing, as previous experience I would of taken this time to check every menu for stains and what not, clean them.
Obviously, today was not the case. Not just mine, the menu was dirty, but my mom’s menu was as well.

Mu coffee mug had a chip on the top edge where it’s easily seen by anyone. (Doesn’t management see these things??)

On the positive side, our server was nice and professional, somewhat a comedian. We customers love that kind of attention while dining. Good job, Sam!

Overall all, our experience was 70 over 100, and I think the restaurant can do better.

I came in on a Friday evening and ordered the Spicy Margarita and Shrimp Diabla Puffy Tacos—and honestly, I haven’t stopped thinking about them since.

The margarita was perfectly balanced: just enough heat, not overly sweet, with a tajin rim that added the right kind of kick. The tacos? Absolutely incredible. The shrimp was full of flavor, and the contrast of the crunchy puffy shell with the rice and beans made every bite satisfying. One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a while.

The atmosphere was just as perfect natural light, lush plants everywhere… it felt like I was dining in a garden. Peaceful, cozy, and beautiful.

To top it all off, I ended the night with a walk on Manhattan Beach just a few blocks away. It was the perfect Friday.

Can’t wait to come back—especially for those tacos.
