The food was excellent. Well worth the price. The lamentation process is perfect creating light and airy pastries beautifully displayed. The coffee was warm and creamy with a nice touch of nutmeg. The bananas foster was filled with a light whipped cream that melts. This place really delivers.

Great cafe. Great brunch selection. Nice and busy atmosphere here but I got no problem finding seats on Saturday brunch time. Tried the big bad wolf and carnitas breakfast with sourdough and they were amazing! Honey lavender latte is also good. Recommended place!

Pricey for 3 triangles of French toast with no sides included. Lavendar Mimosa was good. Some man jumped the line and started arguing. The cashier looked very uncomfortable. He kept saying we were here before her. She said you are in the wrong line to them. I just said let them go ahead. He kept trying to explain himself and I just said I don’t want to hear it just order your food so this line can get their orders in. Luckily another cashier came out and said I’ll take care of you

This is a great spot with an extensive menu and some really nice breakfast options. Depending on how busy they are, the service can be a bit slow. The plus sides are that there’s no issue with parking, and you also have the option to sit outside.

A great local breakfast place to grab a quick meal with friends. We have been going here for years and the food has been consistently good.

I usually get the Nutmeg scramble or shashuka, but ordered the Spicy Corn Beef Hash this time. Love the heat. Everyone else like their orders.

There is seating inside and a small patio outside. The business expanded recently to offer more indoor seating and a cute little boutique shop next door.

Gluten free options! They’re not as obvious on the menu, but that was good GF bread. Loved everything about this place. Open one downtown! 🙂

Nutmeg is a great breakfast spot. Fresh dishes and delicious pastries. When I first started going to Nutmeg thier coffee drinks were exceptional. Overall time the barista talent has decreased.

Nutmeg is not the same place it used to be. The food quality has gone downhill, everything tasted bland and not worth the price. Even the coffee was disappointing. I used to love their Mexican mocha, but the last one I ordered was so bad I couldn’t even finish it.

The service was okay overall, but the barista was a bit rude when we asked for a water cup. He insisted there were cups out for us to grab, but there were none. It wasn’t until he checked himself that he realized the cup area was empty. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the experience.

The biggest issue is that the pricing no longer matches the quality. We paid $75 for two adult plates and one child’s meal, which feels excessive given the taste and quality.

I gave this place another chance, but that was the last one. I won’t be visiting again.

Met up with a friend for breakfast. I had low expectations for a brunch place in a strip mall but it was really good. Fast service after ordering at the counter. Pleasant outdoor area to sit too. The coffee just hit the spot next to the omelette I had. I will definitely repeat. Easy parking as well.

An great neighborhood coffee/cafe shop for breakfast, lunch, or simply spending a productive day! I stumbled upon this gem recently and was instantly impressed by the warm and welcoming staff, clean environment, and the overall energy of the place.

I visited on a Saturday morning and it was packed—every table taken, filled with people enjoying their food and conversations. The cashier mentioned that Fridays through Sundays are usually the busiest, especially before 9:30 AM. In the afternoon, things tend to quiet down around 2 PM.

When I came back for lunch and was equally impressed. They offer a variety of healthy and nutritious options. The Wi-Fi is fast, the restrooms are clean. A decent environment for working, reading, or casual conversations. There’s even free water and excellent coffee.

One thing to note: parking can be tight on weekends and Fridays, but it’s manageable during other times.
