Wanted to give Lam’s Pearls a try after its new ownership and can definitely tell there’s improvement! Guy that took my order was really patient with me over the phone and answered all my questions . I ordered the Pepper Steak Lunch (came with egg roll for $9.25) and it was really good.
It’s definitely more flavorful, but only issue I had was the pepper steak sauce was salty and the rice was little dry (chicken pieces were dry as well).
Also noticed they sell boba tea and Labubu’s and other goodies inside. Hopefully they advertise more and welcome customers in for dining in, but I know they’re still transitioning.

Loved the Chow Mein and Pork Wontons! The chow mein is fantastic—full of that smoky wok flavor and so satisfying. The wontons were a highlight: silky-thin skins filled with deliciously seasoned, tender pork. Even without shrimp, they were incredibly tasty and comforting. A definite must-try!

Hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in a while! The flavors are immaculate and aren’t overpowering at all! The price-to-portion is also amazing because the quality of the food is so high, and at such an affordable price at that! The owners are very kind and hospitable. They were willing to take the time and explain their menu items to me. I really recommend coming here to try out their food! You won’t regret it!

We got the Almond Chicken with Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Wonton Soup and Hot and Sour Soup! Everything was absolutely amazing and we’ll be back soon!! Fast friendly service!! Best plum sauce in town too!!

I have to say, the prices at this restaurant are very satisfactory, the portions are large, and the food is delicious! Even if you don’t eat in, you can still enjoy the meal in the restaurant! I look forward to coming back next time!

My family has frequented this restaurant for the past 30 years. We will not be returning. I ordered moo goo gai pan it’s just chicken mushrooms and a bunch of onions. I thought they forgot the other vegetables, but they said that’s how they make it. never heard of it made like that. The guy had me prepay because the food wasn’t ready and when I saw it before I left the restaurant he did not care or offer me a refund when I told him I never would have ordered it!!!!!! Also got chicken egg foo young and the chicken was hard inside and the fried rice that came with the combination meal,no one could chew the chicken it was so hard and overcooked! very disappointing food it was over $50 and that’s not including the tip I left.

Went here with a group on Christmas Day. Was really worried based on many reviews here. Am happy to say that everything was excellent. I ordered General Tsos chicken. The chicken was fresh, tender, crispy, and the sauce tasted great. The fried rice, egg roll, and plum sauce were great too. Service was also excellent, and one of the (I think managers) offered to take a photo of our group. The restaurant itself felt very clean. The restroom did feel quite dirty, so I do wish that had been cleaner. An otherwise excellent experience. Reasonably priced, too.

I actually seen the advertisement on Facebook a few weeks ago and was excited to patronize the business. It’s really hard to find delicious, clean , great location, healthy portions and great deals for restaurants theses days. Well long story short I had the opportunity to meet the new new owner very pleasant. I was expressed by the lunch deals 4 for $38 amazing. Well here we go I made my purchase Dec 30th yesterday. I arrive home it was not good it taste as if it was reheated and day old . I knew when I was eating it I didn’t enjoy each bit I ate . I though it was just me my daughter, son’s and my daughter dad said it was horrible and I didn’t mention my experience. I told them I found a new place that was advertised on Facebook a few weeks ago and I was eager to try and new to the area. My family said I should have took it back and got a refund. Yes we did eat it I don’t like doing ratings like this but I have to be honest. Everyone’s pallet is different I had 5 family members give there opinion as a 1st impression. I pray much success with some changes , upgrades and suggestions from the community . Happy New Year.. Pearl City and Staff.

This is my second time having dinner here and let me say WOW. The food is amazingly flavorful and great portion size. I enjoyed my chicken low mien and my kids enjoyed the orange chicken. They said it was better than panda. We’ll be going back again.

I saw they were having a promotion on DoorDash, so I ordered sesame chicken, orange chicken, and other snacks. The taste exceeded my expectations, and the price was incredibly reasonable. It’s rare to find a restaurant with such low prices these days. The owner was very welcoming; they even gave me Christmas decorations when I picked up my order. I’m already looking forward to ordering my Thanksgiving party dinner from them before Thanksgiving!
