Not sure how this place has such good reviews?! Spice bag had so little spice I had to reach for some salt just to get some flavor. I’ve added pics to see – like, is the spice in the house with us?! Sure isn’t in this bag, as shown in the pic with the bottom of the bag; the little bits/chunks there are the pink Himalayan salt I ground up and added in, there was no spice showing. Also not present was any crispiness, like there was not a single crispy fry to be found.

Similarly, the fried rice is severely lacking in any semblance of being fried, as seen in the pics. The chicken in it looks boiled and the rice is white white, not a touch of fire or soy sauce to be seen. Nor any other flavoring frankly, it is so bland. The only veggies are broccoli and carrots which, again, look to be boiled or steamed. Even these eggs in it seem oddly unfried, though how that’s possible I don’t know. I have literally had free hospital food that’s less healthily bland.

Also, from almost two decades living in Thailand I can safely say broccoli and carrots are very much not traditional in fried rice (where are my tomatoes at, nevermind my green leaves?) but why quibble at authenticity when we can’t even reach the low bar of some sort of flavoring. Like, consider an onion even maybe, or pepper?

I’m doing 2 stars instead of 1 because the spice bag wasn’t stingy with the chicken, I’ll give them that.

The best high-tier thai restaraunt in Dublin in my opinion. The service was very kind and they knew what they were doing. The decor looks very detailed. The price is very cheap for how much you are getting. We ordered 6 meals for €82. I highly recommend visiting this place for an evening dinner.

Very authentic thai food, tomyam soup is good! THAI Pork ribs is crispy.
And surprisingly, their spice bag is unique for crispy soft chicken with good salt&pepper compare to city centers. Very reasonable price and value for 3 people.
Very good from me as an asian view.

Most of the dishes were good, but nothing that really stood out. The biggest disappointment was the Singapore noodles – lacked flavour and just didn’t do it for me.

One thing I’ll give them credit for is the staff – they were constantly on the go and clearly trying to keep the place running smoothly. Prices are fair, but the location makes parking a bit of a nightmare.

Overall, it was an okay experience, but I probably wouldn’t rush back.

Takeout dinner Food was bursting with flavour and freshness! Portions are quite filling and I look forward to trying more on the menu

We had a late dinner at San Sab last week. We sat outside and just had a main course each. The restaurant does have a dedicated gluten free menu which is excellent as I am coeliac. The beef pad thai was absolutely delicious, and my partner loved his tamarind duck. The service was excellent too. I would highly recommend.

If you like to eat in a hurry, drink in a hurry and not even be able to order dessert because you feel rushed, this is the ideal place for you. They sell good food but not a good user experience.
A McDonald’s is more comfortable than this place.

The food isn’t bad, and neither is the service.

We ordered starters and mains, but before we had even finished our meal, they brought us the bill to pay. They didn’t give us time to order dessert or even finish our drinks.

Once we had paid, they told us to leave the table (even though there were other tables available for other customers to sit at).

The food is very good and the service was friendly at the beginning, but the final experience was very unpleasant.

We were brought the bill without asking for it and without being asked if we wanted anything else. After paying, another waitress asked us to leave because they needed the table.

Feeling rushed or almost pushed out is not a good experience for any customer. It’s a shame, because the place could be excellent if they improved this aspect.

This is my 2nd spice bag order in recent times and this order was even worse that the last one. Drumcondra outlet.

FOOD CONTENT, in the bag, approx, 2 bags of soft chips, 1 piece of red pepper, approx. 10 pieces of onion, approx. 5 very, very small pieces of chicken, curry sauce was just yellow coloured water in consistancy.

SERVICE, after 1:30 hr wait I phoned for an update.
The person who took my call was pleasant and told me it that I should receive my order in another 10mins. approx.

2 other meals ordered + spice bag meal.
Delivery arrived approx 1:45 hrs. after online order had been placed.
All the food was cold on delivery and needed to be reheated.
Order Euro 53.30

Very disappointed

Ordered 2 spice bags, noodles and rice and chicken came to €50 with delivery very expensive. Horrible food for the price.” Best spice bag in the country” is a scam any other spice bag would be better than this. Only way I would order here again is if I have no where else to eat and was desperate for Thai/Chinese food. Curry sauce is like water too it’s more of a thin oil than sauce. Edit: I called as per their reply was told owners not in they would call back Mabye tomorrow it’s been around 2 weeks since I called them no response….
