Food salsa and service were all exceptional. The hospitality alone made the food taste that much better, but you can always tell if the chips and white sauce and salsa are good the food is going to be too! The great big Bronco Mexican Grill restaurant sign outside would bring in a lot more people tho I feel updated as currently run down looking it throws off the vibe of the whole place and once you walk in it’s like WOW First impression should reflect the awesomeness inside, update that sign for more business amigos!

3/13/25 – came back to celebrate my parents anniversary and the service and did was great! I got the shrimp tacos, which were really good. We also got guacamole for the table, it had great flavors. We tried for dessert the currio cheesecake, which was super delicious! Our server was super great and helpful!

Loved it. The staff absolutely awesome. The food even better. The bill? For under 70 dollars I feed myself and three nephews two of wich are teenage boys and the other is ten. We all left full and happy. It is hard to beat the kindness and promptness of the staff. My only regret is that I was too full to eat dessert.

Limited vegetarian options. The menu had so many wonderful options that I didn’t allow myself to get past the first wonderful entree. I knew if I kept looking my decisions would be even harder to make. The experience started with the traditional salsa, white sauce, then an additional dip that I can’t properly explain what it was other than decitant! The salsa and white sauce also wasn’t as expected. That’s what let me know that the meal was going to be good.

I don’t know if this is the most authentic Mexican food you can find in the area, but just because it isn’t the most authentic doesn’t mean that it can’t be good, right? Because their meals are incredible!
Pictures are of the guac (perfect), chorizo tacos, and the carnitas dinner. Everything was amazing.

I’ve always loved this place, but after yesterday’s experience, we probably won’t be back.

We come here all the time. The food’s usually great and it’s one of our favorite local Mexican spots. But this time was honestly wild. To start, we ordered the fresh guacamole and they didn’t ask how we wanted it (they usually do) so I got the vibe that something might be off. I saw our server come out with it, pause, walk back into the kitchen, then bring it out again… and when she sat it down, I understood why. It was completely brown. Definitely not fresh.

I tried one bite and it tasted rotten. My husband tried it too and gagged.. he literally had to spit it out. When our server came back around, we told her it was bad, and her response was, “Yeah I know, we don’t really have any good avocados right now.” That completely threw me. If you know the avocados are bad, why would you still serve them? That’s not just disappointing.. that’s unsafe.

She said she’d try to find “better avocados” and remake it, which she eventually did, and the second batch was perfect to be honest.. but by that point, we were full and needed to take it to go so we asked for a container. She brought out a cardboard box for the guacamole, which made no sense, so we had to ask again for a cup with a lid. Then when we asked if we could get some chips to go with it, she said that would be an extra charge because to go chips cost money. Which was honestly ridiculous after being served rotten guacamole.

Then the bill came, and I noticed I was still charged for the wrong entrée (I had ordered an enchilada, not a quesadilla and they had originally brought out the wrong entree) and there was also a $3 charge for switching to cheese sauce from red sauce.. something I’ve never been charged for before. We asked, “Hey, what’s this charge for? I’ve never seen that.” She just shrugged and said, “I don’t know, this is just how we do it.” We even mentioned that there was barely any cheese on it, so it really didn’t justify being charged three dollars especially since she never told us there would be an upcharge when I asked to swap to cheese sauce

This is where things really went downhill. We were just trying to understand our bill after a stressful experience.. and she says “Don’t come for me, I’m just a server, I’ll go get my manager if you want.” I couldn’t believe this response. But because we were so uncomfortable at that point, we were just like, “Yeah, sure, I guess we’ll talk to the manager.” The manager came out and we tried explaining some of what happened like how we were served rotten guacamole and all he said was, “Yeah, and she remade it for you.” I was just like, what the heck? At that point, we didn’t even bother going over the other issues because it was obvious he didn’t care at all. I really don’t think we were being unreasonable.

We walked out just kind of stunned. I genuinely felt gaslit, wondering if we were overreacting.. but no, we were served bad food that the server knew was bad, got charged extra for things that made no sense, and were met with attitude when we tried to understand the bill.

It’s honestly such a shame because we’ve loved this place for years, but that experience was so unprofessional and uncomfortable that I don’t think we can come back.
