Blue Fin is a more fairly priced Kyoto Bowl.
I am only rating Blue Fin 4 stars because their cost to quantity ratio is great. If I had gotten 2 ounces less of meat, I would give them 3 stars.
The bowl itself is not winning any awards from me, as the teriyaki sauce isn’t anything spectacular, and it doesn’t make the dish stand out. The chicken could have been par-boiled and finished in a pan because there is no indication that the chicken ever saw a grill. The katsu was basically flavorless, so it’s largely unmentionable.
All things considered however, the bowl is very filing and I have had worse teriyaki chicken. Its better than Panda Express, but it’s not the best bowl I’ve ever had. With the large size bowl costing $11.50, I have yet to find a better spot for Teriyaki chicken.
I likely will not go out of my way for Blue Fin, but at least I can rely on it for when I’m craving a decent, budget Teriyaki chicken bowl.

And oh my goodness, the CHICKEN TERIYAKI… it’s legendary! Juicy, perfectly grilled chicken smothered in their house-made teriyaki sauce that’s sweet, savory, and just the right amount of sticky. Pair it with fluffy rice and their fresh veggies and you’re in comfort-food heaven. I swear it’s one of the best chicken teriyaki in the Valley, hands down!

Owner is very nicest people you’ll ever meet. Always get the chicken teriyaki, today tried the panko. It was crispy chicken not soggy not over battered. Also a Japanese soda. Good experience will keep coming back.

Linn, the owner is a absolue all star. Personality that will just light up your day! The food was awesome, and the portions are generous! I had the Chicken Fried Rice. When coming back to town, I will definitely make sure Blue Finn is a must-do!
