At Pisoneros’ We do as much as we can from scratch. Our wings are fried in beef tallow and we do not use seed or peanut oils. Our sauces are homemade, We make real mashed potatoes and gravy. Our macaroni and cheese starts with real bacon, we make our own roux, and even shred our own cheeses. We like to say when you come in to Pisoneros’ It’s like coming into our home. All of our beef jerky production is done in house. The majority of our flavorings are also homemade. We roast our own garlic, ripen our own mangoes and all of our chiles start fresh, which is dehydrated and powdered up in house.

Finally had the opportunity to stop by for lunch today and it was pretty dang good!

We ordered the family meal, which came with 4 meats (we got garlic parm chicken bites & steak bites + cubed bologna & sliced sausage with BBQ sauce) and 2 sides (we went with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes & gravy). And to top it off — a cheesecake bite.

Everything was full of flavor. The steak bites were tender, the mac and cheese was creamy, and the mashed potatoes were the perfect consistency. The garlic parmesan sauce was delicious — oil-based rather than creamy, which I actually like.

And that cheesecake bite… so glad I saved room for that little piece of heaven!

Steve was incredibly polite and helpful — not just to us, but to everyone who came in while we were there. Even though this isn’t a full-service restaurant, he made it feel like one. Whenever he wasn’t at the counter taking orders, he was out checking on customers to make sure they had everything they needed.

We’ll definitely be back!

If you haven’t been by there, go give it a try.

*no pic of the cheese cake bite because well, I indulged and didn’t think about it until it was gone *

My wife and I ate here tonight. We got the 4 meat family meal to try a little of everything. We ate until we were full and brought home more than half of what we ordered. IT WAS VERY, VERY GOOD!!! We ordered a double order of garlic parmesian steak, pork tenderloin with black velvet sauce, sausage with BBQ sauce, Mac n cheese and potato salad. I also got a cheesecake. Everything was really, really good! The homemade ranch was the best ranch I have ever had! Although the spicy ranch just wasn’t for me I’m sure people who like “spicy” will like it. My only complaint isn’t a complaint at all…..the cheesecake needs to be bigger because it was friggin’ good! My wife literally asked me “DID you just drink the sauce?” My reply was “Yes. Yes, I drank the sauce.” We will absolutely be back. Just so you know….the price, for us, was reasonable but some might think it is a little on the high side. We paid $54 for 2 lbs of meat, 2 large sides, 2 drinks and a dessert.
My only suggestion for the restaurant that I would like to see a green vegetable on the menu, maybe a nice fried garlic asparagus crown or grilled green beans…..
The service….it felt like we were eating at friends house who just loved to cook for his friends. We really liked that he came to check on us and ask how we liked everything. The seating is more of a café style, with no tables inside the restaurant. They are outside the restaurant but still inside the building. We had no problem with it at all.
You will be seeing us again soon!

Don’t let anyone tell you different, this place is 10/10. Steve was super nice and checked on me several times to make sure I had everything I needed. Steak bites were out of this world. Chicken bites were just as good. Sausage was crispy outside and juicy inside, as were the two other meats mentioned above. Everything was perfectly seasoned, even the mac and cheese. It’s rare to find someone who knows how to season mac and cheese. Gravy was perfect for me. I like to dunk my meat and consistency and flavor were on point. I got zero gravy on my shirt so that means it was perfect. Bring your appetite. I’ll be back!

Wow, I got the half order of steak bites, mashed a wing and a couple of sauces to try. Everything was above the quality you would expect for a half closed mall, Steve makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years, excellent food like I’ve never had anywhere else. 12 different sauces any heat you like plus excellent gravy ( the Black Velvet sauce has a hint of Habanero and Mango i cant recomend enough) I would say if you want to watch the Game with friends this is the best place in town to get you wings togo (No Tv in the mall) better order ahead they cook as they go.

Pisoneros – Mall 31 (31st & Sheridan)

If you’re looking for bold, handcrafted flavors and genuine hospitality, Pisoneros inside Mall 31 is absolutely worth the stop.

From the moment I arrived, Steve was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, taking the time to walk me through the different meats, sauces, and rubs. That level of customer service already sets the tone—but the food truly seals the deal.

Let’s start with the mac and cheese. I’m very particular about mac and cheese (I usually only like my own and hate wasting money on disappointing versions), so when Steve offered me a sample, I was glad I tried it. It was delicious. The flavors of bacon, onion, and garlic really pop. I’ll admit, I gave it a side-eye when I heard onion and garlic in mac and cheese (but who am I to judge—I use bell peppers in mine), but it worked beautifully. It was slightly salty for my personal taste, though that could simply be from the cheeses used. If I hadn’t been sharing with my husband (who doesn’t eat bacon), I absolutely would have ordered it. I’ll definitely be taking the bacon tip and adding it to my own mac and cheese recipe—thanks for sharing!

I ordered the three-meat meal, and hands down, my favorite was the steak bites with the garlic rub. Absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and literally melting in your mouth. Not a single tough bite.

The other two meats were wings in Black Velvet and Sweet BBQ. Full transparency—I don’t care for spicy food. To me, both sauces had heat. If you’re sensitive to spice like I am, consider these closer to a medium heat level. My husband thought the sauces were fine and barely spicy ‍♀️. That said, the wings were cooked perfectly. Steve lets you know they take a little time, and that patience is well worth it. These were meaty, well-cooked wings—not fatty, undercooked, or soft like so many places serve. I loved that.

I wanted to try the loaded mashed potatoes, but they were sold out (next time for sure). I went with the fried potatoes and gravy instead. They were okay, but I think a sweet fry seasoning or dusting would really elevate the flavor.

And finally—do not skip the house-made ranch. Grab a few. Seriously. It’s that good.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience. You can truly taste the care, passion, and intention behind the food.great food for the price. We had more than enough for the two of us with leftovers.

Thank you, Steve, for sharing your love of food with us. We’ll definitely be back.

And from one California soul to another—nothing but California love in every bite. West Coast flavor, heart, and hospitality done right.

This is a cool little place. I got two meat I got the chicken bites and a steak bites and they are both very good cooked really nice and the gravy is good as well. Macaroni and cheese I had heard about and it’s really pretty good, mine seem to be a little dry but it was okay. The portion is really nice the dry rubs really good it’s definitely something you should go try. The pricing is a tad High I think for the area. But it is an awesome little place and he’s super nice and describes everything on his menu answers all your questions.

What a delightful and unexpected gem. The food here was phenomenal, and the service even more so, with the owner taking the time to explain the full menu and make recommendations. I ordered the garlic parmesan steak bites, which I found especially tender and flavorful. This place also sells the best artisanal jerky I’ve ever had in my life (Tropical Bold), which is really saying something. Definitely worth a shot if you’re in the area.

Owners Steve and Jennifer were awesome. Steve explained the menu and Jennifer brought us fresh baked cookies. Can’t beat that. We ordered the 3 Meats with gravy and they did not skimp on the gravy which was awesome. The bbq sausage, chicken and beef bites were all so flavorful. The fried potatoes were crisp and so good with the gravy. My husband thought that maybe the fried potatoes could be cut a bit bigger though. Will definately be back. Wish they were in Broken Arrow so we could go more often. Price was also on point. Not too expensive for all the food we got.
