We stayed in a Travel lodge hotel and Tommy’s restaurant was pretty much in the parking lot! We stopped in for Dinner y Husband ordered the 12 OZ Top Sirloin Steak. He said it was perfect. The Hashbrowns were golden. I had the cream cheese filled French toast..Wonderful!
We are now here for Brunch again PERFECT..We are just passing Through after a long trip. The Staff are so nice….We will definitely stop here again…

Amazing and delicious breakfast. They add cool whip to the cappuccinos. Serving sizes are huge here. Very old school, a hometown charm.. waitresses were pleasant. Pay at the front register, not at the table.. would love to come back here next time in the city. They support local businesses! SuperSuper recommended.

Charming Midwest diner, loved the small town vibe and dining with the locals. We were coming off the highway and didn’t realize how far from the highway it was but well-worth it. Nice selection of pies, wholesome atmosphere and service.

Came for dessert; left with a smile. Ordered a slice of sour cream raisin pie and a slice of peanut butter chocolate pie.
Both were rich and delicious. Servers were so friendly and prompt.

I would like to put out a big THANK YOU!!! I have no idea who took care of our bill. We had 5 adults and 2 children. Celebrating 2 birthdays. We all had steaks. Except for 1 spaghetti! It was a pretty big bill! I hope whoever did this, will read this and know how much it was appreciated! Also, I am humbled. I promise to pay it forward some day!!! Its absolutely heart warming to know there are great people in this world. Kindness is still alive and well!
Great food and service!! Thank you!

We love to support locals, especially when we’re traveling, so Tommy’s looked like a great dinner spot on our road trip. And it did not disappoint! Cozy and clearly a happy local spot, the food was delicious for a fantastic price and the staff were just the sweetest. And for a bonus, my kids were ecstatic that breakfast was available all day!Skip the chain restaurants, eat at Tommy’s!

Greeted with smile, sat at a booth immediately. Waitress came over right away after we were seated and was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Coffee was hot, fresh and delicious. Food was delicious and service was amazing! I ordered a BELT and the eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, bacon crispy and fresh! Hubby had the eggs and beef patties with pancakes and he ate every bite and was happy!

My family and I stopped in yesterday for a very late dinner on our way back to Kansas from South Dakota and we had an incredible experience. Unfortunately I didn’t catch our servers name, however he was quick and yet very patient and made great substitute ideas for my meal. I went with a sirloin and eggs meal(I think a number 9) and added 2 eggs in place of the hash browns. The steak was delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife’s salad was huge and looked very fresh. The kids got chicken baskets off the kids menu and they both enjoyed every last bite of their plates. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. All in all will absolutely stop back in next time we are in the area!

It was fine. It was edible. But my pork fritter sandwich came out kind of gray? They were stacked weird in the sandwich in a way that made it hard to eat and the meat wasn’t great. And they only give you two little pickle chips and some poorly done mayo to go with/on it. I also felt like it wasn’t terribly clean. The salt shaker was really sticky. My phone fell under the table and it was frankly really gross under the table. I’ve worked in restaurants and I am fairly certain that floors just must not be part of the work that is done there. I might give them another chance, but there are so many better places to eat in GI.
