One of our most memorable meals on the Big Island. Everything was phenomenal from start to finish.

We had the pulled pork platter with sweet potato fries and pineapple, the fresh catch taco salad as an appetizer, a gumbo, and the chicken and ribs platter with sweet potato fries and beans. Every dish was packed with flavor and clearly made with care.

The vibe is a cool Western-style BBQ feel, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Highly recommend getting there early when they open — they sell out of items quickly (we missed out on cake because it went fast). Definitely a must-stop spot on the big island!

WOW! I loved this place. What a perfect meal. Wifey and I shared two plates…she had the BBQ sampler, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Their smoked offerings of pork & beef, perfect.
I had the fish and chips, Mahi Mahi panko crusted with perfection.
The highlight, the best banana cream pie I’ve ever had in my life!!!!
The service was top notch. Felt like they really appreciated our business.
We went early, I’ve heard there can be a long line at times.

Came here for lunch and the food was great. Probably one of the best meals I had on the island. The waitresses were super friendly and attentive. There was also a nice little shop next to it which you can check out while you wait.

While the brisket IS fantastic I definitely don’t recommend the Mac and Cheese BBQ Brisket. It was mostly mac and cheese and the mac and cheese was too watery. Also, the amount of brisket that came with it wasn’t that much either. I would recommend it if you’re looking to carbo-load, but imo the ratio seemed off and the mac and cheese wasn’t great either in terms of texture and flavor. If you do decide to order it, get an extra 1/4 lb of brisket.

Great place to eat. Fun vibrant atmosphere with a very nice outdoor garden area. Small but beautiful. Friendly attentive staff and delicious food. We order the brisket platter broccoli soup, Mac m cheese and nuggets for the kids. Oh and a piece of Chocolate cake for the road. It was a massive piece of cake. The home made dill ranch is amazingly good. We got a side of it to take home. The brisket had good flavor but was a bit dry. Over all we will be visiting again before we leave Big Island and hopefully a juicer brisket awaits!!!

Wonderful stop in Waimea. Ate at the bar so we were able to sit immediately. There was a short wait for a table (about 20 mins) which definitely would’ve been worth it. We ordered the BBQ Sample Platter, it was delicious. Got baked beans and coleslaw as a side along with a piece of cornbread. All the meats were amazing and the cornbread was the best I’ve ever had. Have to shout out the bartender Kirk. He provided great service and had an awesome energy. Finished out with banana cream pie- 10/10 and it was giant. Definitely need to visit if stopping in Waimea!

At the recommendation of someone I follow on social media, I had to make this a stop while on the Big Island. The recommendation was valid. Food was excellent. The service top notch. The atmosphere casual and welcoming.

I started with the daily tots. Daily tots were tots covered in pesto, bacon and melted cheese. Oh so good. Generous portion which could easily be shared.

I asked the server for food recommendations before placing my meal order. There were a few sampler type options I was admiring. Turns out these were on the recommend list. I ordered the brisket sampler with grilled pineapple and coleslaw. The brisket was fork tender and perfectly cooked. I liked the grilled pineapple with paprika (?) on it. The coleslaw was not to my liking. It didn’t have a mayo base which is my preference. Decent portion size.

Lastly, I did order dessert, coconut cake. Huge piece of cake. I could only eat part of the slice so took the rest home for later. It was just as good on round two

Definitely a good place for bbq. Visit hungry!

Get there early or prepare for a wait. Order at least 2 orders of the cornbread, you won’t regret it. The poke was excellent, the sweet potato chips were a nice addition. Fish tacos were a little too wet, but had good flavor.

Unfortunately, our brisket was clearly precut and dried out. Flavor wasn’t bad though. Also, our waitress never talked through the specials and spent most of her time chatting up her friends at the table next to us.

Overall we liked it, but will be sticking to the fish portions of the menu.

Where do I even begin. Some of the most amazing barbecue I’ve had in years! Had a sampler plate and it was phenomenal! And for dessert you must an absolutely have to try the banana cream pie, One of the best I’ve ever had. This will become a stop every time we come back to Hawaii for sure.

We stopped here on a whim while driving through Waimea, and what a lucky stop! This place was great. Such a fun atmosphere, super friendly service and great BBQ! I had pulled pork tacos and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich, both great. The server even managed to provide VERY GOOD sweet iced tea and a to-go cup! If you are from the south, you know how important sweet tea is to the BBQ experience.

The highlight of the meal, however, was the banana cream pie for desert. Easily a top 10 all time and very close to banana pudding.
