The welcoming atmosphere is so warm that the wait, despite the restaurant’s popularity, is barely noticeable. Tables are promptly cleaned as soon as guests depart, ensuring a consistently pristine dining environment. Drink orders are taken and delivered with impressive speed. I began with the sushi, which was prepared fresh before my eyes by the chef, providing reassurance of the seafood’s quality and freshness.

It was truly a perfect experience.

I did not have the opportunity to visit the restrooms, but I hope they maintain the same high standard of cleanliness.

First time eating here! It was delicious, their selection is unmatched, service was top notch. The crab rangoons were the best I have ever eaten. I was blown away by the experience. Very clean restaurant, you can tell it’s well taken care of, and the staff were just wonderful. Highly recommend, 5⭐ across the board.

Great for a buffet. Food up to temp, taste how its supposed to. Compared to other Asian buffets, it gets a 5 out of 5 and is probably the BEST Asian buffet in MID TN. compared to other restaurants, It would be a 2.5 so the rating is purely based on what it is. So if you like Asian buffets, this is a must, if you don’t, for the price theres an abundance of different places you can go.

$41 not including tip for one adult and one 7 year old. So a Family of 4 is easily spending a bill.

This is the place for hibachi, Chinese, seafood, even some American dishes. This place was recommended & it didn’t disappoint. Our waitress was spot on. They do have a sign on the several buffets, any food wasted you will be charged, which makes sense. We were throughly pleased with so many options, even the fruit buffet. For me & my husband was 43, he got water & I got a pop.

We ate dinner here with the family. The staff lacked customer service and was rude. The cook had no gloves on. They didn’t accommodate my husband’s medical issues. And people were getting ice cream without gloves. Not clean at all. The food was ok but not sure on the cleanliness or how it was prepared. I do not recommend this place.

Great amount of food, great diversity of food and lots of options. Staff are kind and helpful. Restaurant that chargers if you throw away food so only get as much as you can eat. Makes it difficult to try to new things so there’s that but I guess it helps the staff keep food pricing done. Been enjoying this Restaurant since I was a kid and the pricing has skyrocket since then so bring plenty of money if you have a big family definitely not cheap.

Food is excellent. It stays fresh because it’s always so busy so I do appreciate that. I enjoy sushi and sashimi.. unfortunately I do love frog legs and they’re always so stale and old because I’m assuming nobody else eats them but me.

Lady who brought my drink was nice and very tentative, she always kept the table very clean and was very on top of it.

The atmosphere is really not the best. It’s such a cool building and has so much potential but walking in I felt like I look like an alien. The worker at the front almost seem offended that I came there to eat.

Did 2 orders from the buffet to go. You walk in get your soup containers, to go containers fill them up and they will weigh them to determine your cost. The table by the checkout has all the condiments, plastic ware, everything you need to pick up to go. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend done in or to go.

The food was great until I went into the bathroom and almost lost what I ate. The bathroom was so disgusting I had to hold it until I made it home. I don’t think it has been cleaned alllllk week. You got to do better!!!

Update

A few months ago, my last visit was so disappointing that I stopped coming for a while. There was no wait at all, which was shocking after years of seeing this place busy, and the food was not good. After that, several people I know went and said the same thing — poor food and hardly any customers — so we stayed away for months. Even though it’s almost a two-hour round trip, I kept following Google reviews, and when I started seeing recent comments saying the food had improved, I finally decided to come back.

This visit was much better. The parking lot was full, we waited about 25 minutes, and the place felt active again. The food was noticeably better, refilled quickly, and portions were generous. Overall, I was satisfied and would consider coming back. Just be aware that the restrooms were not very clean and had an odor.

A Longtime Favorite in Murfreesboro

I have been a loyal customer of Yoki Buffet since before it even opened. Previously known as Chef Wang’s, I have been dining at this location for nearly 15 years. The reason I keep coming back is simple: although it’s a buffet, the quality of the food rivals that of regular restaurants. What truly sets Yoki Buffet apart from other buffet-style restaurants is the unlimited availability of high-quality dishes without delay.

Exceptional Seafood Selection
One of my favorite items here is the blue crab. Yoki Buffet serves blue crab in large quantities, ensuring that there is always plenty available. What impresses me the most is that the crab is fresh and delicious. I have often encountered a chemical-like bleach smell in blue crab at other buffet restaurants, but I have rarely experienced that here. Additionally, the crawfish and clams are incredibly fresh and flavorful. The cream shrimp and various chicken dishes are also well-seasoned and tasty.

High-Quality Sushi & Sashimi
What surprises many customers is the sushi quality at Yoki Buffet. Unlike typical buffet sushi, the rolls here are comparable to those at dedicated sushi restaurants. They offer a variety of rolls, including eel and shrimp, and even serve salmon sashimi. It’s rare to find a buffet that provides fresh raw salmon like this.

Hibachi & Dessert Options
The hibachi station is another highlight, where fresh ingredients are cooked to order. Adding teriyaki sauce and hot sauce enhances the flavors, making it a must-try. The dessert section is impressive, with a wide selection of ice cream, fruits, and sweets to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ambiance & Service
Yoki Buffet has a spacious seating area and ample parking, making it an excellent choice for family gatherings and casual meals with friends. However, because of its popularity, there is often a wait time, especially during peak hours. One drawback is the inconsistency in service. While some staff members are highly attentive and efficient, others may neglect drink refills and clearing plates.

Cleanliness & Facilities
One area that could use improvement is the cleanliness of the restrooms, which can sometimes be below expectations. Additionally, the lighting in the back parking lot is dim, which may feel unsafe at night.

Recent Visit Experience
During my most recent visit, I noticed that the food quality was slightly below its usual standard. I arrived around 6:30 PM, and some of the dishes seemed a bit stale. However, by 8:00 PM, fresher items were being served again. Because of this, I am deducting one star from my usual rating.

Final Verdict
Despite some minor flaws, Yoki Buffet remains the best buffet in the Nashville area. The seafood selection, sushi quality, and variety of dishes make it stand out among other buffets. I hope my next visit will be as amazing as before, and I look forward to updating my review again in the future!
