The only thing resembling good here was all the patrons seemed to be in good spirits. As for the food omg where do I start. As many of you that follow my reviews it’s not easy to get a bad review from me the proverbial BUT #1 the place was disgustingly filthy the walla, the tables, the advertisement placards at the tables just completely filthy. I don’t mean hustle and bustle Buffet dirty but some of this as you can see in the pictures (even worse if you zoom in on them) was nasty filthy been there for days and weeks type filthy. Now every single item you see on my plates I tried. The chow mein I could cook better half blind, using a trash can lid and a blow torch for a wok. The smaller thinner noodles were sticky and pasty, every type of fish I tried was super bland and so watered down and over cooked you could barely taste fish flavor and this included the shrimp and crab. Like how do you get crab wrong (they figured out a way). Every type of chicken was dry and overcooked to where some might as well have been early stages of jerky. The sushi was not very flavorful (I tried every type) and the batter dipped fried sushi had zero flavor but 100% greasy. The raw tuna fish was tolerable. The kimshi was barely passable but how do you get rotten cabbage wrong lol. The Wasabi was out too long, dry and crusty. I mean as filthy as the place was considering they deal with so much Raw fish I’m very surprised a state health inspector doesn’t shut them down for I don’t know how many health code violations. The waitress pretended to be folding napkins but played on her cell phone most the time and acted upset I asked for a tea refill 20 minutes in. As a tourist knowing Jacksonville is on the Ocean their seafood should have been on point or at least up to par. Even the ribs were overly dry and under flavored. The bathroom was a pig sti. The Ice cream and desert area was so very filthy I just tried to get pictures of the filth and bypassed the desert this trip. I for sure would Google search ANY other Buffet in the area and go there before this one. Just sad and disappointed people don’t put more care into their work ethic top to bottom in this Buffet. From hiring and firing the slothful employees, to the cooks and the people that are supposed to clean the place. The waitress/host should be inviting, welcoming, and attentive but none of this happened here.

I love this place! Been going there for ages. There are a ton of selections, so everyone should be able to find something they like. There are the typical Chinese food staples of course, but they’ve also got sushi and Mongolian barbecue. There are even some more Western dishes, like roast beef, if you’ve got some less adventurous eaters in your party.

I took my kids to eat at China Buffet for my birthday! Food was okay. Some thing were cold. I was looking for crab legs but they had the blue crab cut in half so u can’t eat the legs. They were fried. I got a Corona on the house and a couple of key chains which was very nice. The environment was awesome.

It’s really rude how these people blatantly ask for tips; they have no shame. So I wasn’t ashamed to tell them I wasn’t going to give them a tip either. Food bad, service horrible, and at the end they ask you for a tip and if you do not give them a tip they give you a bad face

Food on the buffet line tasted like warm, granted this was around 1pm. 26 September 2025. The grill food was the only hot food that tasted decent. There is a good selection of food, but felt again that it wasn’t kept to hotness. I liked the atmosphere. My server was friendly.
