My husband can’t stop raving about this restaurant, and rightfully so. We started by going to their happy hour to try a few things and absolutely loved it. We then followed up by going to dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The curry rip and dip is delicious, so flavorful! The chicken tikka nachos are something you won’t find anywhere else in Spokane (that I know of). In general, the Mexican and Indian flavors together are unexpected but pair together so much better than I could imagine. Easy parking around the corner near the park. Highly, highly recommend!

First timer! I love the bold flavors of the food, the decor and atmosphere. I enjoyed a spicy mango margarita with some appetizers while I waited for my mango chicken enchiladas. The staff were friendly and upbeat, the food took a bit to come out but the presentation and flavors made it worth it. The water carafe at the table is small and I wish the staff came around more frequently to refill it. If you love margaritas, they do have a membership!!!

We had the chickpea tacos on corn tortillas and pork on naan, and shared the squash soup. It was all amazing, with complex balanced flavors. Blending Indian and Mexican food is genius! Will be eating here again.

It was ok. They had a couple good apps and some great concepts but were lacking in some important areas.

The enchiladas were dry and weren’t super flavorful. My wife said they needed a touch of salt. The steak I got was pretty good and the aoli was nice.

The guacamole was interesting with the mint in it and the pico with the tamarind was good. The highlight of the meal was the fried cauliflower.

It seemed like the Indian and Mexican fusion was more like: You get a side that was a touch of spices from either genre and nothing too pronounced. There is a ton of potential there. Spice it up! Mix the spices together. And a pinch of salt would go a long way.

A few weeks ago, I chose Indicana in The Perry District for my birthday dinner. Party of 10. It was the best way to try Indicana for my first time, because I got to taste all the food from my friends and family which represented a lot of the choices from their menu. Overall, I was impressed with the delightful flavors and presentation and creativity of this menu… India X Mexico– the brainchild and culinary creative genius of Chef Noreen.

This past Sunday, Indicana celebrated their one year anniversary by blessing their patrons with an unforgettable dining experience… a Six-Course tasting menu. Six courses with six tequila cocktail pairings. As each course was served, Chef Noreen came out to clink the glass to grab our attention and talk about the dish. This included her sharing information about the ingredients and connecting some nostalgia and inspiration to the fusion of India X Mexico. The bartender also popped in to introduce the tequila cocktails she perfectly crafted to pair with that course. Sometime during the evening, “Chip,” the silent partner, also came to our table to introduce himself and chat a bit. That was charming and added to the intimate, human experience at Indicana that night.

My Love took me to this dining event, which felt like a continuation of my birthday just weeks ago– Food and Stories, the two things I love most about this whole earth-side human experience. The portions were beyond generous for a tasting menu. The flavors were positively poised, so balanced, pairing two cultures so well that they seemingly fused into an entirely new cuisine leaving you to feel warm, satiated, satisfied and inspired to unify. We should come together, blend cultures, break bread, share thoughts, ideas, and love each other… Start with the food. Start at Indicana.

Happy 1st Anniversary, Indicana!
Cheers to many, many more years and continued successes!

Thank you for showing up.
Spokane needed you.

Did you really read all that?

Amazing! I went into dinner thinking the reviews are great so I expected it to be good. Our meal and experience was better than expected. The staff was so attentive and without being intrusive. The food was a perfect blend of two cuisines ( The beef mole was a blend of mole and masala ). Very well managed team with experience and training. Super clean restaurant. One of the staff noticed that I dropped my napkin from across the room and placed a new one next to me and said “just in case you don’t want to wipe your mouth on a dirty one”. I would recommend that you try this place. I would also like to thank them for the great meal and experience!

Ate here because of restaurant week and boy was it a great choice. Chiorizo tacos were more meat than I expected. we ordered an extra curry and chip dip and it was amazing my husband had the mango enchiladas and I had the beef mole. Both were great so much more flavor than regular Mexican food. Service was great but get there early because it is not a big space and fills up fast. We will go again!

What a fantastic night out with friends! We dined on Indicana’s gorgeous patio. Our drinks were nothing short of delightful—elevated craft cocktails that felt both refreshing and inventive. Each sip was a testament to the care and creativity poured into Indicana’s full bar offerings. And the food? Absolutely stunning. Every dish arrived looking like a work of art, beautifully plated with vibrant colors and meticulous attention to detail.

Of course, the flavors matched the visual presentation. From innovative fusion tacos and shareables to satisfying entrees and house-made desserts, every bite was a harmonious blend of Indian and Mexican influences—bold, fresh, and delicious. The kitchen’s commitment to quality is clear, and it shines in every dish.

Service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive; it complemented the delightful atmosphere perfectly. Whether you’re out for a casual meal, a celebratory dinner, or a festive gathering, Indicana hits the mark on all fronts.

Highly recommend—Indicana delivered a stellar experience in every way. We can’t wait to return!

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here, and made reservations for a party of six. We went on a Saturday around noon.
The service was professional, kind and fairly quick.
The food was really good. My young teenager enjoyed his food, as did his sister. We know younger ones can be picky. So that was a major plus.
Good times had by all. Thank you

From start to finish it was a lovely experience! We had a walk in group of three on a Saturday night, and while there was a wait…it was well worth it. Cocktails were well balanced and incredibly refreshing without being too sweet, the salmon and steak entrees were both phenomenal (best salmon dish we’ve had – same goes for the steak), their chips and guac app was a simple starter made wonderful with unique spices and fresh twists, and the service was genuine (and impeccable)! We were laughing about the fact that the entire establishment was nice – right down to the bathrooms. No pictures because the experience demanded full attention. We will DEFINITELY be back. 12/10.
