A delicious and creative menu – check out this cute little place for a quick bite. Casual and rustic but fun – and great for a group. The shrimp noodles were incredibly tasty as were the vegetable dumplings- the best I’ve ever had! Also try the charred broccoli and the bbq spare ribs. I was really excited to try the miso truffle cod but it was very salty – although that was disappointing everything else was fabulous. Ride your bikes there it makes for a totally Nantucket experience!

This restaurant seems to be trying a little too hard to be everything at once, there’s no clear identity or consistent energy, which made the atmosphere feel a bit scattered. That said, it didn’t take away from the quality of the food or the overall experience.

The wine wise they had a decent selection with fair pricing. We started with the octopus, which was beautifully delicate, though it came on a bed of what seemed to be taro, unfortunately too mushy and not the best pairing. The truffle cod was the highlight: cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and nicely complemented by microgreens, which also worked well with the octopus.

We ended the meal by sharing the ramen special of the night. It was generous in size and rich in flavor, definitely comforting.

The space itself felt a bit too dark and moody for my taste, which clashed with the eclectic menu and overall tone. Still, despite the identity confusion, it was an enjoyable dinner.

Another review where I wish I could do 4.5 stars.

The Beet was good. We would return, but have a couple of wishes.

We ordered the Brussel sprouts, which were good overall, but would have been better with more flakiness and a bit less central mush.

I had the Korean BBQ quesadilla which was the best of what we ordered. It was fantastic and the scallion pancake as “tortilla” was superb. Loved the pork. The menu indicated the side of slaw would have pineapple in it, but I didn’t detect it. And I could have done with less BBQ sauce (too much on the top). But overall I loved the dish.

My wife got the chicken burger and it was tasty. While you might appreciate a good amount of meat, the burger was really too thick, especially in comparison to a brioche bun that got soggy way too quickly. Her sweet potato fries were excellent, perfectly crispy.

Service was okay. It was busy, but could have been better. The drink (water) service was great, always coming around to refill which is good for me as I drink a lot. But we waited a bit to get the check. Not a huge deal.

Overall, very good.

Delicious food with rich taste and wonderfully presented dishes. Make sure to try beet lemonade – it is so freaking good and refreshing! The place is amazing – super clean, comfortable seatings, very attentive people. Nice place with healthy food.

Cute little spot. The dinner menu is ok. Great place for vegetarians and pescatarian. Couple options for meat lovers like me. The Felinos fry rice was great. I had really high hope for the Bao Buns and the Korean Quesadilla, and i left disappointed.
The Coctails were amazing !!!
Great lunch options. Personal opinion that lunch is better than the dinner.
Definitely will stop by for that spicy margarita.

The food is mediocre at best. First, they served us raw shrimp “har gao.” See photo (inside is completely raw shrimp). We then were a bit icked out once we were given that dish. Additionally, what was served is not har gao, more so a large shumai.

We had the vegetable gyoza/steamers, and honestly they were simply not good. The flavor was lacking, but it was weird that the inside was a mix of puree and whole veggies. And then we had the fried rice and it was mediocre. Meat was not flavorful but the rice was so-so.

Atmosphere was fine. Definitely wouldn’t go back!

This is one of my favorite food spots on the island. Here is why you will love it too:

1. The food is delicious. Everything I have ordered here has been top quality and flavorful. It’s SO good.

2. The restaurant is easily accessible and right in historic downtown.

3. They offer delivery and you can also pick up. Either way I have done takeout our food has been easy to get and fantastic.

4. Friendly staff!

If you are thinking of eating here give it a try! You will pay a little more but it’s worth it.

Highly recommend.

Healthy never tasted so good. The veggie dumpling lived up to the hype. The lobster roll was the best we had so far on this Cape Cod trip. Large pieces of fresh lobster in a buttery toast. Absolutely delicious and came w a side of house made vinegar chips. We also got the Bang Bang chicken/accompanying salad( which was spicy). Sophia, our waitress was very helpful and kind. Overall great place we stumbled upon to wrap up our Nantucket trip

We had such a nice lunch at the beet. The dumplings are really good, they have this fantastic sauce. The Hulk (shown in the pic) was good and really filling. We ordered something we thought was something else, completely our bad, and told them so and without asking they took it off our bill. Absolutely above and beyond and so nice of them. The inside is really nice if you want to sit and enjoy out of the sun or it’s just a seconds walk from lots of great benches and lunch spots if you want to grab and go. Overall 10/10.

The Chow foon was so amazing. It came with delicious bone marrow. The noodles were nothing like I’ve had before, they were so good! Also, the service was excellent. I highly recommend eating here. We will definitely be back! 🙂
