The place decor was nice. Finding a parking space is a bit difficult especially during weekends. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Food was okay. The pork needed a bit more of flavor/seasoning. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The Arroz con Pollo was a standout comfort dish. The yellow rice was perfectly seasoned. It was fluffy and dotted with green peas and red peppers, which added a nice pop of color.
We also tried the Fish Tacos, which were fresh and they came served on soft white corn tortillas, generously filled with fish that was cooked just right—flaky and light.
Our waitress was kind and attentive, checking in at just the right moments.

Service was fantastic. Food was phenomenal. I highly recommend their Medianoche Sandwich and the café con leche is to die for! Rice and beans were even delicious. Definitely give this place a shot. If you’ve never had cuban, you’re in for a surprise! Lightly but purposefully seasoned, great flavors, and perfect bread. Gracias!

Nice restaurant. Food was really good. I ordered the empanada sampler. It came with 4 empanadas. 2 chicken and 2 beef and 2 sauces for dipping. Will definitely be returning to try more of their food!

I been going to Papi’s for 15 years now. I loved the previous staff with the live band every Friday and Saturday. The portions of food were tremendous. Now, since renovations. No band, and the staff is not the best. The food, especially chicken, steak de palomilla, or fish barely ever are well done. Us Latins like our meat and fish well done, and they are super cheap with the rice. This place has fallen off

Get the grilled fish, which comes with black beans, rice choice, salad, and choice of one other item. Just great flavor and value.

Went there for the first time on the evening of Thursday 08Jan26 with family. Drink refill was very poor with minimal service recheck through the meal. Fish tacos were inconsistent with 2 of the 3 tacos in my order not even seasoned while 1 was spot-on. Pork tacos were bland and really a waste of money, but I shared and we finished them. My son ordered a bowl of shredded beef with rice and some type of bread, his 19 year old taste buds rejected it and we reordered fish tacos for him, which were good. Daughter order the Cuban sandwich, which we all sampled and it was poorly seasoned. Wife ordered bowl of shrimp with beans and rice, eh, seasoning was lacking. Other son ordered shredded pork lechon, rice beans, and it was tasteless. My family is Filipino on wife’s side and this meal was not up to any standards we will accept. Spent over $100, including tip, and will be the last money we spend there. My advice, go somewhere else, I guess there is a good reason there was no one there at dinner when we arrived. Go next door to cook out if you want FOOD, Papi’s is not e enough close.

We stopped in this little gem to grab a bite as we arrived in town. The location is great. The facility was clean and inviting. The staff was attentive. Not too overbearing but, checked in frequently. We busted about 4pm. There were only a few other diners at that time and that was okay with us. We had the mixed empanadas and the Rey’s Cuban with fries. We had dinner plans later so we wanted a lite fare. Both dishes were good. The empanadas were seasoned well. I only wish they had a little cheese. It was my first time trying a Cuban it was delicious but the bread gets soggy quickly. I also had a mango mojito that was made to perfection and quite refreshing! Overall it was a good experience and we will try again.
