Just got off the phone with a manager named Melissa regarding a takeout order my husband picked up.
I ordered a southern fried chicken salad. What I got was a large box barely filled with lettuce—half (or more) of which was brown, beyond wilted, and slimy.
This went straight into the trash. So thank you for wasting my money and my time and only offering a free salad on my next visit—which I never plan on returning, so that helps me none.
Apparently, the lettuce issue is a recurring problem based on previous reviews I’ve read here..meaning management and/or corporate really aren’t taking the necessary actions to rectify the situation.

I used to really enjoy coming to O’Charley’s, but the quality just isn’t what it used to be. The food came out bland and a little underwhelming, like it had been sitting for a bit instead of being made fresh. It’s disappointing because this used to be one of my go‑to spots for a good, reliable meal.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the dining room was clean. Everyone I interacted with was polite and tried to make the experience pleasant, so the customer service definitely wasn’t the issue.

Overall, the people working here were great, but the food just didn’t live up to the O’Charley’s I remember. I’m giving it two stars because the service was solid, but the kitchen really needs to step it up for me to come back.

Stopped by O’Charley’s for dinner and the experience was pretty middle‑of‑the‑road. The restaurant itself looked clean and comfortable, and we were seated fairly quickly, which was a nice start. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it wasn’t overly crowded, so it made for an easy meal.

The food was a mix of highs and lows. The rolls were warm and soft like always — honestly one of the best parts of coming here. My entrée was decent: the chicken was cooked well, and the sides were fine, just not especially memorable. Everything tasted okay, but nothing really stood out the way I hoped it would.

Service was friendly but a bit inconsistent. Our server was nice when she came by, but we didn’t see her very often. We had to wait longer than expected for drink refills and small things like extra napkins. Not a deal‑breaker, but it did slow the meal down.

I spent over 2 hours and 20 minutes at your restaurant due to a series of failures in service, kitchen standards, and management.
​Service & Staffing: ⭐️ Despite the restaurant being slow on a Monday afternoon, our server was nowhere to be found. My glass remained empty for over 20 minutes, eventually forcing me to go to the bar to get my own refill.
​Food Quality:⭐️ Our order was incorrect, and the food served was subpar, specifically featuring wilted and spoiled lettuce.
​Management & Billing: When we requested a manager, it took over 15 minutes for one to arrive. Even then, the ‘resolution’ was simply the manager removing items from our ticket that we never even ordered or received. Correcting a billing error is not a resolution for a two-hour ordeal; it is a basic requirement.
​This was easily one of the top five worst dining experiences I have ever had. I expect a much higher level of professionalism and quality control, especially during non-peak hours. I look forward to hearing how you intend to address these lapses in service.

She was incredibly helpful and ensured that our meal and time were compensated. We truly appreciate Emily’s proactive approach and going above and beyond to turn our experience around! Service awarded stars to 4.

I will never order from here ever again. I got a sirloin steak that was a complete piece of fat that I couldn’t even cut through or rip apart. I was able to get 3 small pieces off the top layer to actually eat. So mad I spent almost 50$ to only be able to eat the rolls I ordered. Even the coleslaw was disgusting it had a milky almost tasteless juice on it. No flavor at all. Just juicy milky tasteless slaw. Ordering a steak was me trying to treat myself for once and I was thoroughly and completely let down.

$15 smash burger. No smash patty’s. Waitress even told me “I don’t eat the food here”. Salad was wilted and old.
Sweet potatoes fry side was all of 7 fries.

We decided to try O’Charleys again after not returning for a few years due to past experiences. Upon entering- hostess sat us at a dirty table. There was maybe 5 tables sat in the restaurant. They advertised chicken nachos app for 5$ when the Coca-Cola nascar drivers finished in the top 5. The waitress had no knowledge of the special and when asked if they offer that special she stated “I don’t know, I don’t watch that.” We went ahead and ordered it anyway with no pico & no jalapeños- to no surprise it arrived with all toppings (we did not send back)
For our meals- We ordered chicken tenders, Cajun shrimp pasta, and a club sandwich. It took a very very long time to get our food and during the wait, we did not see our waitress. The chicken tenders arrived dark appearing and very hard (the kids could not eat them because they were rock hard). The Cajun pasta arrived visibly covered in a large amount of seasoning on the top. It was cold (not just warm, actually cold in the middle). The club was just okay. All of the food appeared to have sat under a warmer for quite some time as the cheese on the club was curled and clear on the edges. Our waitress did not remove anything from our cluttered table and refills of drinks had to be asked for.
Our bill was $60 and we felt the food was unappetizing and the service was bad. I will not go back to O’Charleys.

Went here for the first time today & was not disappointed, the service was spectacular, waitress was very attentive & kind. The spinach dip was so so delicious, tenders & fries were good, I do not recommend the loaded potato soup, WAY too thick & starchy, way too much cheese, not appetizing. texture was kinda weird & bacon bits were too thick.

Atlantic Salmon was good. The house rolls seem to have gotten very small

They changed the mac and cheese a few years ago (sometime after my visit in 2021) it now has a creamier sauce. Some people may like that change.

This is the 2nd time we went, had the same issues. Steak was over cooked. Green beans were mush. Coleslaw was tasteless. My husband order the shrimp dinner couldn’t eat it. The fries were hard, as was the shrimp and fried okra. His salad was pretty much all he was able to eat. The appetizers were dried out. And the waiter didn’t even pay attention to the level of our drinks. All in all Go to logans. We will be from now on.
