Opened in August of 2009 in the W Hotel South Beach, MR CHOW’s international clientele have found its classics here along with new and creative recipes. The stunning dining room is centered by a unique 123 foot Gold-leaf and Swarovski crystal chandelier designed by Michael Chow. Located directly at the beach, the restaurant features indoor and outdoor private rooms, a spacious outside dining patio and interior bar and lounge.
Branch of an international chain with lavish decor & Chinese dishes both classic & inventive.

My favorite restaurant for many years so yes this review will be biased. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because they have been “renovating” the outside terrace area for years now and have yet to finish it. So that is a bummer because that’s arguably the best spot to sit and eat at. Anyways , food is amazing. Service is immaculate. On the expensive side of course , but you should already know that. And even if it is expensive , it is 100% worth it. Great service , which is very RARE nowadays (especially in Miami). If you’ve never been – highly recommend you check it out.

I found this restaurant on Google and decided to dine here after seeing many positive reviews about the food. The space is elegant and beautifully designed, giving the impression of a high-end dining experience.
Unfortunately, the reality was completely different from what we expected. The dishes were very ordinary and nothing special, yet the prices were extremely high for what was served. Our bill was about $230, and looking at what we ordered, it’s hard to believe the cost was justified. Most of the dishes could easily be found at any casual Asian restaurant in the U.S., except for the fish.
The worst part is what happened after the meal. Both of us experienced food poisoning — severe stomach pain and diarrhea throughout the entire night. Even today, we are still in pain and unable to leave the bed. This became the worst experience of our trip to Miami.
This restaurant seems to rely on luxury décor to make you believe you are paying for something special, but the food quality does not match the price at all. For this reason, I cannot recommend this place to anyone !

Mr. Chow Miami is a stylish spot with a great atmosphere. The food is very good and high quality. Be aware that the prices are very high and the service can be somewhat slow. It’s a good choice if you prioritize the ambiance for your night out.

Dinner at Mr. Chow feels special from the moment you walk in. The staff sets the tone immediately—warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. What really stands out is how naturally they do it. There’s no hovering, no forced enthusiasm—just genuine care and a clear pride in what they do.
Service moves like clockwork. Drinks are refilled before you even think to ask, plates arrive with perfect timing, and questions about the menu are answered with real confidence. It’s the kind of attention that makes you feel taken care of, but still able to relax and enjoy the evening.
Overall, the service at Mr. Chow isn’t just good, it elevates the whole experience. It’s the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave.

My husband and I just ate at Mr. Chow and were extremely impressed by the ambiance, the service, and the food! Maya was our server, along with all the staff, and they were all very attentive, formal, and really made our experience so exceptional! We ordered the chicken satay (A MUST), an off menu stir-fry (highly recommend, has a little spice kick to it), Beijing chicken (which has a sauce that I couldn’t get enough of, literally) the green prawns (perfectly cooked), and the shrimp fried rice (not pictured). Everything was delicious. We also got to see the chef give us a show on how he makes the noodles, very fun experience for adults and kids. Highly recommend eating here! We loved it and will be coming back again.

Mr. Chow is beautiful inside and the customer service is amazing however the food wasn’t good at all. No flavor. The white shrimp fried rice was a joke. Some dishes had some potential but needed way more seasoning. Very disappointing.
