Most important aspect of this location is that everyone is hands on, including the manager.
Food is delicious and very cheap. (Pancakes and waffles are the best!!!!) Definitely coming back and highly recommended spot in Nutley.
Elda was our server. The service was impeccable. The food was great.
My only negative, my egg whites were not fresh. Not sure if powdered eggs or what but not my favorite.
I loved loved loved the hash browns. They’re amazing. I highly recommend.
My husband got the banana pecan French toast. He loved them.
My godmother got the western omelet. Delicious.
Thank you for your great service.

I ordered the Chicken parm quesadilla and the vodka style disco fries and they were both amazing. It was so much I had to pack it up and take it for lunch the next day. The flavors were amazing. Definitely going back to try other things that they have.
And like I said above not just a diner.
The hostess looked annoyed that I even showed up, and after a five-minute wait in an empty diner (why??), I was seated at a sticky table that clearly hadn’t been wiped down all day. My server took another ten minutes to acknowledge me, and when they finally did, they acted like taking my order was a personal inconvenience.
I ordered something simple—pancakes, eggs, and a coffee. Should’ve been foolproof. Instead, I got cold pancakes, runny eggs, and coffee that tasted like someone hadn’t cleaned the coffee pot in weeks. I asked if the pancakes could be warmed up, and they literally came back microwaved.
The whole time, the staff were loudly arguing behind the counter about a coworker really being sick or not, which didn’t exactly help the “bon appetit” vibe.
By the time I left, I was hungry, annoyed, and honestly a little concerned about food safety.
Save yourself the disappointment. There are plenty other fine establishments in Nutley with better food—and better service.
The place was packed for a 2pm but always safe to find a seat at the bar. Got 2 eggs platter with chicken sausage and food was out in a few minutes. They are quick and they are good. Looking at the eggs I can tell they were going to be special lol. Home fries were seasoned more than other places and the chicken sausage was average.
best part I had here is the coffee. I’ve had diner coffee all around and it is generally as bad as hospital coffee but the coffee here was great. Had a second cup.
Service was great! Emma who helped me was very warm and attentive but not hovering.
Def coming back here again
The owners are supposed to be running the restaurant, instead they sit in booths eating for hours while the staff is left to struggle.
The environment is miserable and hostile. I overheard the male owner, Steelios, degrading an older server for “being too slow”. I heard the female owner, Maria, gossiping about another employee who had called out sick, accusing her of lying, all within earshot of customers. This alone shows how unprofessional this place is. The servers look defeated. No wonder so many have quit and moved to other diners.
Sanitation is also questionable. I watched the host touch menus, the register, and money, then immediately handle pies and cheesecakes without washing hands or using gloves.
Way too many red flags. Go where you’re respected and valued, clearly nobody is here. If there was still other diners in the area, I highly doubt this place would still be open.
