Reviews
Service was exceptional just as we had read on reviews and heard from friends. Elise was one of the servers who gave us great input as we had some questions along the way. The place was loud and packed as expected for a Saturday evening. The wine selection is not great and very limited like most sushi restaurants. I could not find anything I really wanted to drink here and so I ordered the sugar-free soju. It comes in a bottle plain and you really don’t want to drink this by itself because it tastes like water down vodka. Not a great flavor. I ordered a $3.50 lemonade and mixed the two but the lemonade was really sweet for my liking. Basically, if they had some more drink options it would be a perfect place for dinner.
Price guide:
All you can eat basic (option A) $34.95 100 mins
Tried these and can recommend all of them:
Caterpillar
Salmon lover
Dynamite roll
Japanese lasagna
Kiss of fire
Something wrong

From the very beginning, we were welcomed with a cloud of smoke and guided to our table with an impressively professional attitude. It felt great to be treated not just as regular customers, but as true guests of the restaurant.
Our server Elise was extremely professional and attentive, helping us navigate the menu with care and providing service at a very high level.
As for the sushi itself—it was absolutely amazing. I only say that when the sushi is truly well-made and tasty. The price-to-quality ratio was pleasantly surprising.
Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, which we really appreciated. Both the dining area and the restroom (I only visited the men’s) were very clean.
So yes—we’ve been here ourselves, and we definitely recommend it to you too!
AMBIANCE
when you first walk in, it’s got such a fun vibe — from the decor, to the music! fun art on the walls, neon lights, very very cool to see what they did with the space. also a great place to dine for customers of all ages; kids to adults!
SERVICE
we got there around 8:15pm, so we didn’t have much of a wait. Cody and Francis took great care of us; breaking down the menu and checking in on us at all the right times! the staff are all extremely kind and friendly; from the hostess to the food runners; excellent service all around!
FOOD
if you’ve never been, the staff will break down the menu for you. you can order “a la carte” or an all you can eat option, which is broken down into different options. the cheapest food option (of the 3) still has SO many options, so the price is pretty reasonable; especially for all you can eat! everything we had was delicious. everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. it all came out pretty quick after ordering — they’ve really got it down! the only thing we didn’t love was the something wrong #7. it felt a little mushy when eating; it needed another crunchy element or something to offset the texture. however, TONS of great options for even the pickiest of eaters, people with food allergies, diets, etc.! something to be mindful of, they do charge if you don’t finish your food. so order slow, and enjoy the experience!
PARKING
lots of parking on the street or in the large adjacent parking garages nearby. pro-tip, park far away if you’re doing all you can eat cause you will practically need to be rolled away after all the food you will enjoy
SEATING
while we didn’t sit outside they have a little dining area outside, that would be perfect for a cooler day/evening meal. lots of seating inside, but would recommend calling ahead for those busier times of day.
wish we could’ve tried more, but it’s the perfect excuse to come back for more! looking forward to our next experience at pier 50!
Unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. We ordered four different sushi sets and the Jalapeño Pops appetizer. The appetizer was described as jalapeños bombs, but what we got looked like a tuna patty with a tiny strip of jalapeño stuck to it with cream cheese. It was not appetizing at all and completely killed our appetite. Pls see my picture.
We still hoped the sushi would be good, but all four sets tasted almost the same — overloaded with imitation crab and some kind of avocado purée than fresh avocado. It seems that once a restaurant starts doing “All You Can Eat,” the quality drops quickly, as they try to cut costs and increase margins at the expense of taste.
The sushi we had a year ago and what we had today were two completely different experiences. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.
