SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I used to go here all the time, love some good Spanish food. But lets be real, you can go to several spots for some good wholesome Spanish food. This place isn’t anything special so when I got completely ignored I walked out. I walked in one afternoon after working several hours I really was starving and wanted to good wholesome food. I walk in smile, head nod, and wait patiently to be served. 2 woman look at me, no greeting, no head nod, no un momento, anything really would have been nice. The 2nd woman looks at me again I smile, she completely walks away and im just standing there like hello seriously. Just walk out cuz you guys are just moving stuff around could have helped me. I waited so long to eat thatI was already nauseous so at that point I was done. Thankfully the Spanish place on Broadway treated me like I was home. So much love and even asked if I wanted a substitute. NOW THATS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS, TAKE A WALK TO BROADWAY AND TAKE A LESSON ON HOW TO GREET PEOPLE!!!!

The food is bad and the Service is terrible. Ordered a T-Bone steak on the grill with a side of platains. I got sent something that looked like it was baked and really salty, additionally they forgot the side order. After beign sent the side order, the delivery guy calls me and tells me he cant come up because the bags are heavy and for me to come down or wait until he delivers the rest first. Like are you kidding me?

This is it. Real good Dominican food. My mom was a cook at an OG Caridad restaurant and this is the type of food she’d make. They don’t take shortcuts with how the chicken is baked and seasoned. Had Chuleta frita and it was amazinggg. Had ensalada de pulpo which was a bit overpriced in my opinion for a small ($30) but solid as well. I order delivery regularly and dine in occasionally with friends. They also have mojito a sauce that you drip over your food and LOTS of Latin takeout places omit this from their menu. The sauce is vital!! Thank you for keeping traditional Dominican cooking alive.

For a Dominican restaurant, the food is very bland. I phoned in for two orders one was supposed to be fried boneless chicken with rice and beans and baked chicken with fries and beans Both orders of chicken tasted bland as if was from yesterday but reheated.

Today I went to buy some Mangu, they wouldn’t let me eat it in the restaurant because the one I was buying was a small one and not a big one. The lady wouldn’t even consider the reality that it was 9 Fahrenheit degree outside, that all the tables in the restaurant were empty and that I told her I wouldn’t be able to finish the large mangu if I buy it.
I like to support Dominican businesses but besides this lady being rude she was also doing her job, reason why I also blame the management department. Do better!

I do not understand where this bad reviews are coming from! It must be the competition because I ordered from Grubhub and the food was hot and delicious and the delivery was fast and courteous. Their sancocho, cocido and arroz blanco are delicious. The only thing that surprised me is that the soups don’t come with rice like before but they’re not the only ones it’s every restaurant. Also their prices are very reasonable compared to the other places. I will definitely order from them again.

What will eventually be the downfall of this restaurant is the front staff, rude for no reason and they really do not grasp the concept of customer service. If your customer orders a black Coffee and if it’s so strong that’s literally undrinkable your response should’ve be “oh well you should’ve ordered it light” or “oh well I cannot the deduct it from my bill because I already brought it out” it’s not about the coffee its about the unnecessary rude response. How many bad reviews on the rudeness of the front staff is the owner or manager of this establishment going to allow before they actually do something about it?

I kept ordering from this place. Many bad experiences, yesterday was the last straw. They sold me a piece of flan with a large mold!!! And another dessert that looked just as old probably! Guy manager had the audacity to tell me he couldn’t give me my money back; and said its the company who makes it fault! I told him when the Health Department comes, they’re inspecting this restaurant, the company gets their own inspection! Then he kept talking about a receipt, when they do cash money exchange without a receipt all the time! He didn’t even extend an apology or offer something else instead! After a back and forth, and I pointed out, why don’t you take them all out the fridge and check how many have a mold, he picked up a phone call and signaled one of the ladies to just give me back the money! They dont throw them out after 3 days! They keep the old food for the sake of profit! And i am pregnant almost due! It’s the principle what if I would’ve started eating old rotten food and realized late! I forgot to take a picture! SHAME ON THEM!
