This is probably one of the best Mexican food places around. The food is always great – fresh & large portions. We always get the strawberry margaritas on the rocks too – which are outstanding. Service is always great!

We were traveling within the state of Wisconsin. This restaurants appearance caught our eye. Beautiful decor inside as well. Very warm, welcoming, fun people there. The 3 in our party ordered Mexican. The flan was delicious. Portion sizes are generous. Although there are American options.

This place is rather small, it’s mostly a bar with a kitchen. My food was good but nothing special. Another person in our group really enjoyed their tacos. The server seemed like he was new at the job but overall did well.

I am writing this review as I eat my leftovers from last night. Yes, the servings are big so you will be well sated.
First time customers, and the weather was nice, so the outdoor tables were open. However, we sat inside to get an idea of the entire place. It’s cute, seats lots, and has a large bar area. There are lots of different-sized tables so that’s great for as many friends to want to go with. Our server, Gemma, was really good and did a great job because the menu is HUGE! To start, the blended house margaritas were really good with many flavors to choose from. The drink menu alone is extensive.
We ordered Steak Tacos, which filled the plate. The two sides that come with it are also plentiful. The steak did not have much flavor, as I had expected. The cheese was well hidden, too. I found them a bit bland, and they are the same this morning. However, the Ground Beef Quesadillas were spectacular! The 1/2 portion is huge, and thankfully Gemma told us so before we ordered a full order. The beef was seasoned so well, and the order was overflowing the plate.
All in all we were satisfied, and I know to order the ground beef next time. But the place serves lots of options, and the tables turn over quickly so it must have a nice following.
Yes, give it a try. The prices are appropriate.

I tried a torta for the first time. The birria could have used more seasoning. The combo platters over a lot of food. My boyfriend had a fancy burger. He, too, thought that the meat could have used a pinch of salt. Still impressive. Very nice atmosphere inside (festive) and outside on the deck area is welcoming.

First time here and will definitely go back. Food was fresh, hot and came out quickly. Restaurant was clean and we were greeted immediately by the bartender and told where the hostess was right away. Hostess was funny and so nice. Sorry I didn’t catch her name. Waitress was quiet but attentive and did a good job. Have passed this place several times and will definitely recommend to everyone. Margaritas were good also as well as chips and salsa. Steak quesadilla was amazing!! Steak was very tender and portions were great!!

I have driven past Senor Lunas hundreds of times and never ate there until Tuesday night. We were two couples and we all started off with a Corona Lite with a lime and the server brought out some chips and salsa. The salsa was very good. We ordered fajitas and tacos and burritos and everything was “Excellent”!!! Our server was very nice and friendly and very professional. I highly recommend Senor Lunas !! Prices were reasonable as well.

It wasn’t a long wait, the table was very clean and our waitress was very polite and patient. The drinks and food were great. We had pozole, tamales and cheese nachos. Lots of chicken in the pozole. Pork tamales are so tender and delicious. Cheese nachos are a classic kid choice.

We had the Beer Battered Cod and Baked Cod on a Friday night. Both were very good. We got there around 5:30 pm and it was extremely busy, we got the second to last table available. Clean and friendly staff overall. Our server was a bit slow, but that was because he was extremely busy. Totally recommend this restaurant. We want to go back and try the other dishes, we love Mexican food. Went back for Lunch and got the fish again. Still want to back for their Mexican dishes.
