My husband and I came here to celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary. This was our first time here. And I was wary due to the mixed bag reviews. I noted in our reservation we were celebrating but no one made mention of which was kinda sad.. it’s ok though.

Our server Carolina was amazing and super attentive with check in, our drinks and recommendations! Loved her!

Appetizer:
My husband ordered the pork belly bites but there were more like thick cut bacon bites. A little tough to chew through for me. The Dijon creme they were served on top of was very tasty.
I ordered the poached beets and pears that came with a goat cheese and walnut topping. There were chewable small red beets on the plate that I enjoyed but the classic beets were unpoached and tough to bite through and the pears weren’t ripe. I enjoyed the goat cheese and walnuts the most.

For dinner:
I ordered the filet cooked medium with their house steak sauce ($4 extra) which was very ginger, Worcestershire forward. Very bitey. It was good I just couldn’t eat a lot of it as it was a powerful flavor profile. My side choice was the roasted sweet potatoes with pumpkin seeds.. the potatoes were so amazing and caramelized in their skins! The steak was no more impressive than an outback filet. Cooked correct and thick but no wow factor.

My husband ordered the dry aged ribeye which he said was very good and ate all of. With the garlic green beans on the side.

I also ordered the cucumber lime mocktail which was very tasty!

Overall service was stellar, ambiance was great but for the bill being over $200 I can’t say it was the best meal I’ve had for an anniversary meal.
It was however our most expensive to date.
We are something of foodies and will travel and spend a pretty penny for great steaks.
This was just a little lack luster overall. I would like to try their lunch menu for a final personal review but idk thst we’ll do dinner here for this price point again.

Stellar Dining Experience

V Chophouse had some questionable expectations based on a few Google reviews, but my wife and I decided to check it out and form our own opinion.

I’m glad we did because it was fantastic. From the start, the service was excellent. The host was welcoming and seated us promptly. Our waiter, Jrod, was funny, personable, and attentive. He checked in just the right amount without being overbearing. He was truly delightful.

The atmosphere felt upscale and high quality, reminiscent of restaurants I’ve visited in New York, Boston, or DC.

The menu was simple yet elegant, offering a great selection of classic dishes. I went with the elk loin, my first time trying it, and it was delicious.

Their drink selection was impressive, with a wide range of wines, liqueurs, and some beers as well.

The head host even stopped by a few times to make sure everything was perfect, which I really appreciated.

I also got a free dessert because it was my birthday which I appreciated!

Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

We made a reservation for five people a week in advance and were really looking forward to what we hoped would be a special evening out. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations.

To start on a positive note, our server was very kind and personable throughout the evening. While service overall was extremely slow, he himself was pleasant and did his best to remain attentive. We ordered two appetizers, which came out promptly, and the bread was absolutely delicious — easily one of the highlights of the meal.

However, after finishing our appetizers, we waited over an hour and a half for our entrées. When they finally arrived, most of the dishes were cold. The few items that were not cold were either overcooked or lacked flavor. It was especially disappointing given the long wait time.

When we brought the issue to the manager’s attention, she offered to remake my husband’s elk loin. Unfortunately, it appeared that the dish was simply taken to the back and reheated rather than freshly prepared. That was frustrating and added to the overall disappointment given it was a $50 steak.

To compensate for the inconvenience, we were offered two complimentary desserts for a table of five. While the gesture was appreciated, it felt insufficient given the circumstances. We chose to take them to go rather than continue the evening there.

Overall, between the excessive wait time, cold and poorly prepared food, and the limited effort to resolve the situation, the experience fell far short of what we anticipated. We truly wanted to enjoy our evening, but left disappointed.

I recently dined at Five Chophouse, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere of the restaurant has a wonderful vibe that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The ambiance is warm and inviting, which really enhances the dining experience.

The drinks were exceptional, offering a great selection that complemented our meals perfectly. Each cocktail was crafted with care, and it was clear that the bartenders take pride in their work.

Now, onto the food—absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, making it one of the best I’ve had in a while. Every bite was a delight, and the sides were equally impressive.

One thing I did wish for was some background music to elevate the atmosphere even further. A little music could add to the already great vibe and make for an even more enjoyable dining experience.

Overall, Five Chophouse is a must-visit for steak lovers and anyone looking for a memorable meal. I can’t wait to return

This place surpassed all of our expectations. I highly recommend visiting for a special occasion as they made my husband’s birthday special. Everything was delicious, the brioche stracciatella was so amazing I could eat the entire appetizer! The prices a very reasonable for the quality and portions. The mac n cheese was surprisingly so goood and a must try! Our server was extremely knowledgable and very attentive. Definitely one of our new favorite steakhouses. The dessert options are great and we can’t wait to return to try more items.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner here on a Tuesday evening. She had the Short Ribs and I had the Filet and Crab Cake. It was amazing! You get a choice of seasoning and sauces for the Filet. Everything was perfectly cooked and presented (see pics.). Service was extremely attentive. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend.

Won’t ever be back. Let me preface by saying Jess the server was very kind. The food itself was decent, not anything special. The management here however, has major issues. It was my birthday dinner. We were first seated inside (as a group of 8) on an 80 degree day, and the AC was not functioning properly. I had been here 3 months prior and they were having major AC problems then as well. How has this MAJOR issue not been solved in all this time? It’s neglectful. We had to ask to be moved outside, while the manager essentially gaslit us about it being hot (unit read 78 degrees). It’s been a problem for 3 months – so you knew it was an issue. Hundreds of wine bottles have been stored all summer in the back room where the temperature is 80 degrees. This affects the longevity and taste of wine. We ordered 2 different wine bottles, with someone coming out each time to tell us it was not available (each time it took 10 min). We sat down at 6:30 and I didn’t get any wine until 7pm. On the 3rd attempt, they brought us a random red that I wasn’t familiar with. Was very average, although expensive, and was served warm. I told them: take wine off the menu that is not available. The entire meal took over two hours. Two hours. On a Tuesday night. Our food was served and we were missing two plates for my grandparents. My grandfather simply asked one time where his food was, and the manager turned to my 82 yr old grandpa and made a snide comment, “if only I had an extra arm.” It is common restaurant courtesy to serve all food to the table at once (I was a server), even if you need more staff to assist. They are understaffed. Steak was cooked nicely and was tasty! The food was the only redeeming quality, but was ruined by the length of time we waited and the poor management. They need a lot of help, and I’m not sure they’ll be able to stay in business for much longer. Must be losing money. They have also taken away all parking on the lot, besides street. It’s now only allocated to condo owners.

I attended the bourbon cocktail pairing dinner on 1/22/26. The dinner exceeded my expectations and was definitely a 5 star dining experience. The food was elegant and the chef explained each dish in detail. The Master Distiller from Bowmans explained the cocktails and the reason for pairing with each dish. The pacing of the dishes and service was perfect! I highly recommend attending any future special events if they are anything like the one I attended!

The food was great, however the front desk staff sullied the experience for our anniversary dinner. They took us to our table which was smaller for my husband who is 6’2, and although they commented on the smaller space, they did not make accommodations. Making the best and seeing the space as “quaint”, we sat down to enjoy our meal. However, about 15 minutes into dinner, the front desk, came over and tried to pack another table so close to us that they would have been unable to go back up without significantly hitting our table. After commenting on the super tight space, they did make somewhat of a change, with an emphasis on somewhat. Thus, we were forced to listen to our neighbors’ lively and admittedly loud conversation.

The food was great and our waiter, Cooper, was amazing as well. Hopefully a future visit would allow us to enjoy the experience without a lack of regard for the front staff’s desire to overpack the space.
