Serious Concerns About Hygiene and Management

I am writing this review to document a very concerning experience involving sanitation and management response at this location.

Major Sanitation Issue
• I personally witnessed an employee exit the restroom and immediately return to preparing food (handling French fries) without washing their hands.
• This represents a serious breakdown in basic food safety practices.
• Proper handwashing is a fundamental requirement in food service, and failure to follow this standard puts customers at risk.

Management Response
• I reported the issue to a manager named Marcus.
• The concern was not treated with appropriate seriousness.
• I was told he would “try to talk to the associate,” which did not reflect the urgency of the situation.

Attempted Resolution
• I later spoke with a general manager and another manager who indicated my next meal would be compensated.
• When I returned, only $5 was deducted from my order, which did not match what had been communicated.

Unprofessional Conduct
• During my return visit, the same manager (Marcus) became argumentative at the drive-through window.
• The interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
• I had to contact another manager while on-site to address the situation.

Key Issues Identified
• Poor hygiene enforcement
• Dismissive handling of a food safety concern
• Inconsistent customer service
• Lack of accountability
• Poor communication between managers

Final Thoughts ⚠️
Food safety should be the highest priority at any restaurant. Customers should not have to worry about basic sanitation standards when ordering a meal.

Due to the seriousness of the hygiene concerns and the inadequate response from management, I cannot recommend this location.

I hope ownership and corporate management review sanitation practices and employee supervision at this restaurant to ensure customer safety going forward.

Place is abandoned, nobody in the lobby, crappie attitude from people behind the counter (coming from the kitchen), if they don’t want to deal we customers, then stay home. They act like they’ve been forced to be there. Also having the order kiosk leaves lack personnel-customer contact and feeling of ‘just leave your money and go’

The service here is great. However the food is hit or miss. Either it is perfect, on point, fresh, hot and delicious. Or it’s horrible, food is cold, not right, just terrible. Today I got the miss. Got 2 orange juices and I could have just got water and squeezed an orange in it cuz that’s what mine tasted like. Food looked and tasted like it had been sitting in the UHC for over an hour. Hashbrowns were super greasy and soggy. Its sad when it’s a miss because I feel like i wasted my money and I dont eat the food. Also I feel like if I were to ask them to remake it I would be the bad person for wanting my food the way it should be. Not to mention everyone of the staff members would look at me like I shot their dog. Its honestly the reason I dont go to McDonald’s as much anymore.

It’s a brand new location and so’s the crew. They’re still learning their way and are a bit “deer in the headlights” sometimes, but the food is McDonald’s quality. What do you expect? Just use your app. The prices are lower and the deals are good, plus the line goes faster when you order in advance.

Don’t bother going here. Can’t be bothered to make a pot of coffee. Maybe their coffee maker was broken but whatever. Would’ve been nice for them to cancel my order so I didn’t have to wait 10 min to use the code they entered before I knew they didn’t have coffee.
