It smells delicious and the rice, sauce, and veggies are fresh. I ordered Chicken Basil Bowl and expected chicken, not round chicken balls with so much breading. Guess I was disappointed because they retracted from the overall flavor.

I wanted to check it out since the bad comments were either months or years ago. I ordered the Spicy basil rice with fried egg and thai iced tea with boba. The food was very salty, greasy and non-spicy at all. The thai iced tea was filled with so much ice. Spending $22 was not worth it at all.

I ate here during the month of April, and the experience was interesting, to say the least. They have a special offered but it’s not clear what’s included in the special. I was shocked that my total was much higher than expected. Someone came out to take the trash out the bag busted directly in front of me, and a horrible smell took over the room. I didn’t understand why the trash was overflowing by 1pm. There was trash under my table. The food wasn’t all that great either. Yhr container was less than half full when I received it

This place has potential. I like the decor a lot, but could use a bit of freshening up.
Food…Not sure if this was an off day for the restaurant. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food and the basil chicken was very salty that it was nearly inedible, not to mention the chicken bits were heavily breaded. Curry was just ok.
Standard counter service. The auntie who was cooking doesn’t like seeing people taking pictures of food. She was making snide remarks about patrons always got to snap before they eat. AGAIN.

Didn’t get to try food but ordered green tea lemonade and it was delicious. Not too sweet, not watery – just refreshing in this super hot day! And the staff was super friendly. Will return!

Extremely disappointed and writing this as I attempt to find some food for lunch because I just couldn’t eat it. The honey chicken bowl is almost drowned in honey. I thought it was just the chicken but both the veggies and rice are covered in it (see pics) There is also NO Chicken. It’s just fried dough and fat.

Walking from the King Street Metro to my temporary home at The Alexandrian Hotel I probably passed two dozen restaurants of various ethnicities before I was called to Noodle Box by its cheery lights in the front window…pad Thai sounded great!
I was one of two patrons when I walked in. I was promptly and kindly guided through the ordering process.

Thai Lemon Iced Tea
Service was prompt. Seating comfortable and clean. Enjoyable music for lonely meal on a business trip.
Food was good. Served piping hot in to-go containers. Flavor was spot on in the Pad Thai. I’d order again. Fried rice was a bit more bland and the tomato in it surprised and confused me. Shrimp in rice were served tail on, another oddity for me.
All in all, I’d go back. Not the best Thai I’ve had, but it will scratch your itch if you got it 🙂

Went last weekend during their grand opening. I had the glass noodle pad Thai and my girlfriend had rice with green curry – both of us had chicken.
The service was very friendly and the food was great and came out quickly. Pad Thai was very flavorful and really good with the vermicelli style glass noodles. The green curry had a real nice kick to it, but wasn’t overbearing.
I am glad to see another fast casual option in Old Town! Will definitely be back soon! (Edit: went back for lunch today and it was great again!)

My husband spotted this on a the map while we were out in search for food. The pictures look good enough, so we have it a try. Soo glad we did. Everything was yummy!! We shared veggie gyoza (we ate two before the pic) and I got pineapple fried rice with shrimp. My drink was Melon Tea with strawberry poppers. We will definitely be back. Don’t forget to take a frequent visitors cars so you can get rewards!!
