The morning buns are unbelievably good, the best pastry in there.

Of course the butter croissants, American butter or French butter, is the best you’ll find in the East Bay.

The tiny round pastries with the dab of jelly in them are super good, very sweet, but super good.

Always a line to get in. Only three or four people can fit inside at a time to order.

A little inconsistent, some days croissants are dry and crispy a third of the way in, other times They are very moist and just the outer layer crispy, so if it doesn’t seem the best you’ve ever had one day come back another day and it will be.

This bakery is amazing! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The pastries were so yummy and so was the artichoke quiche. The staff was kind and helpful, which made the visit even better. My daughter said their baguettes are five-star and she’s very serious about her bread and her very honest reviews. Highly recommend!

Honestly, the pastries are the best part. I tried the classic croissant and a few tarts, and everything was fresh, flaky, and not too sweet. You can really tell how much care goes into making these, and the quality shows in every bite. I loved it and I’ll definitely be back. Great job!

Yesterday, our entire office took a field trip from Walnut Creek to try this place out. It was amazing! The kind and patient workers answered all our questions about what everything was and suggested items for us to try. Everyone loved it and we plan to make the drive every few weeks now as the pastries were well worth the drive. Cannot wait to come back.
SIX stars, all around!

Absolutely loved this bakery! The moment you walk in, the smell alone is amazing. Everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. This place is a gem — I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I’m very disappointed to see how much this bakery has changed since the original owners sold the business. It used to be a beautiful and very popular spot in Lafayette — there was always a long line in the morning with people happily waiting for their croissants and coffee.

Today my experience was completely different. When I walked in, there was only one customer being helped by three staff members, yet the service was extremely slow. I waited for quite a while and eventually had to leave without ordering.

It’s honestly sad to see such a beloved local bakery lose the atmosphere and efficiency it once had. I truly hope the new owners can improve the service and bring back the charm that made this place so special.

Just a quick noon pit stop at this little shop on Saturday to see what’s cooking and to be honest – it’s ok bakery and No-No on coffee.
Fresh and crispy croissant gets the stars, muffins with ham&onion, with raisins were just there, nothing to say.
Cappuccino thought was bitter and smelled burned (extra dark roast) with no warning during ordering.
Place is very tiny inside with no tables. Has few (3-4) cute, outside coffee tables.
Overall, good one time experience.

Got lucky! Went on a Friday morning and the line was very short. Heard lots of wonderful things about this bakery so we had to stop here during our trip. We ordered 4 mini Kouign Amann, a chocolate croissant (not pictured), and monkey bite (not pictured).

These were the best Kouign Amann pastries I’ve ever had. Crispy/flakey/sweet on the outside and soft/moist on the inside. The variety of flavors were all delicious.

Pastries are so much more affordable in California than in Hawaii and to get true French pastries is even harder. A visit to this little bakery is a must!

Limited seating so I found a bench nearby in the sunshine. That was perfection enjoying the bakery item in the warm sunshine on a beautiful Sunday morning! Line took about 5 mins.
