Ashley explained the menu (food & wine), shared specials, and gave each of the tables their own special attention. The table top of 20 across from us never went with an empty beverage and neither did we.
The food was absolutely fantastic! It is made to order, so dont expect your food to be out in 5 min. And its 100% worth the wait!
Bread & oil and the muscles as an appetizer. My son had the beef ravioli, I had the chicken parmesean, and my S.O had Chicken Cort-something.
Perfect atmosphere. Perfect service. Perfect meal!
It’s a small place and the chef cooks every meal so it takes time but worth every minute. So be prepared to wait perfection takes time. This is not your frozen crap from Olive Garden or wherever I’m talking homemade oil, homemade ravioli, bread, and this guy knows how to do it.
BEST ITALIAN FOOD ON THIS SIDE OF THE STATE.
Our wine came with a pink ribbon with words of support for breast cancer, it was very special for me, I appreciated the added touch and support of a cause close to my heart
My favorite Italian restaurant.
Bread bowl with olive oil – burnt and only inside pieces dry
Parmesan chicken – too thick, soggy, yet dry fake cheese crust. Ordered extra cheese for which they charged $6 and it wasn’t even real cheese.
Spaghetti – acceptable, but definitely not homemade
Portabella ravioli – too salty
We will never come back!
We arrived before they opened for dinner and waited, so were first in. It’s a good thing we were. By the time we got our appetizers, the restaurant was beginning to fill up and when we left, they had a waiting list. The dining room is not set up to allow a lot of people, so it wasn’t loud. We didn’t have one waitress. All of the staff checked on and served all of the tables. They were all very pleasant and seemed happy to be there.
They do take reservations, so I’d suggest making reservations if you don’t plan to be there between 4:30 and 5 to get a table.
Most of the entrees range between. $12 and $20 with some like veal and steak being higher priced. I’ve included pictures of what we ate. The pictures loaded backwards.
Definitely go to Da Vinci. Date night anyone?
