Social Profile:

While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco’s delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way – on our signature open-flame grills – then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Buckeye,AZ, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

Fast-food chain outpost known for Mexican classics made with fire-grilled chicken.

Ordered online, was smooth and easy. Showed up 15 minutes too early and they hadn’t received the order just yet. While waiting the associate came out to my car and said they didn’t have the broccoli and asked what I wanted to get instead, no big deal so I chose the corn. After a few minutes before my original pick up time he came back with my order. Super friendly and prompt service, very helpful staff. Food was overall delicious, they have consistently tasty food. Definitely will repeat.

Best west valley location! I go to this location often versus the one that is closer to me in Goodyear because the staff is so much more friendly! I always get a delicious meal and great service! Shout out to the drive thru ladies who have been so patient with me and the El Pollo Loco app with redeeming my rewards!!

Pro tip: Just because you cooked it, doesn’t mean you have to serve it.

After two separate visits to this El Pollo Loco, days apart, I’m done. They serve the most unappetizing food. The BRC on the right looks…disgusting, and I can smell the burn. The shredded chicken and cheese pollo bowl I purchased over the weekend was not appetizing either and not full. I kept thinking that dark red thing was cranberry sauce.

The bowls I purchased from other locations out of state looked nice and were packed with food. This one….

This place just takes your appetite, or maybe that’s what happens when you ask for the veteran or senior discount.

The location at McDowell & 99th Ave is newer and served better looking food, but my first bite of shredded chicken & cheese pollo bowl had a nice long bone in it. That’s a photo for another review.

My mother didn’t mention any problems with her two-piece thigh and wing, so I gave two stars.

I was recovering from a procedure, but now I can make my own food again. Thank goodness.

I enjoyed my meal. The chicken was not dry and was thoroughly cooked. Excellent broccoli cause everybody can’t cook broccoli without overlooking. The other sides were good and the food was still hot when I got home with my carryout. The staff was alert and very courteous.

I ordered the 3pc with rice and beans combo. Chicken is always seasoned and cooked to perfection. What I dislike is cold corn tortillas & rice and beans. Otherwise they would have received 5stars.

$18.35 for a 4 piece meal. Chicken was dry, lacking taste and the pieces looked more like chicken wings than a thigh or breast. Expensive and definitely not worth it. Will not be back.!

I think pollo loco is taking advantage with their prices, I order 4 street tacos and they cost almost 4 dollars each taco…. unavailable the size of the taco its like a kids tacos so small , I am considering that it’s an appetizer… unacceptable .. this isn’t the first time I purchased something from pollo loco that their portions are getting ridiculously small. The staff was great though

To tell the truth, I love el Pollo loco…..but this visit was less than great….chicken seemed dry and tasteless….and it was 11:40 you would expect it to be very fresh at that time.

It was not bad. The food was good. The restaurant was dirty, tables and floor. Prices are decent. Spice bar was closed.
