I’ve been coming here for years! It keeps getting better.
The chips are thin & crispy. The salsa is spicy & full of flavor. The blue cheese coleslaw slaw is delicious! And the goat birria tacos are my favorite! The Yucatan pork was also delicious.
(They were easily able to accomate my gluten-free request.)

Wow $5for a taco. I thought a little pricy, and then it was the size of 3 at taco fast food. And the burrito is huge. Its for dinner n the taco was so big. And out of the park DELICIOUS!! Nice taco bar. That burrito is 6″ and stuffed 2.5″ round. I wish I could eat it now. Under $17, tax and all.

The wife and I stopped in here so I could try their famous MOUNT NACHEESMO challenge as soon on Man v. Food. Our server was excellent, the food was great and came out quickly, and the challenge was a blast. My wife also loved her house margarita. If you save room for dessert, don’t sleep on their churros!

We came from the next door joint from a less than favorable experience. The service here is wonderful! Casey (I apologize if that isn’t the proper name, PLEASE feel free to correct me) was phenomenal, very attentive and kind, and the food came out very quickly. We were so happy to find a spot worth investing our money into, we will absolutely be back! Thank you all so much!

One of the best places for Mexican food around. Service is always exceptional and it’s great that they are open late! We LOVE their drinks, but be careful, their margaritas are so yummy they can get dangerous! They have some of the best hot salsa around. We had to ask for some hot salsa, and our server brought us some out and we were excited to find that it was actually spicy. A lot of places will err on the mild side to please the masses, but we loved the burn! Great tacos, great service, great margaritas!

NEVER EAT HERE!!!

My girlfriend and I have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the area since we both just moved. Tonight, we unfortunately landed here. The staff was overall fine and the atmosphere could’ve been better, but the food…. I was genuinely laughing at the thought of Gordon Ramsey eating here, it was that bad. I got pork street tacos, and a side of refried beans. The pork was flavorless and dry. Every Mexican restaurant I have ever been to has juicy, seasoned, pork. This was a dry lump of salty meat. I didn’t even try the beans because they looked disgusting, but my girlfriend did. She said “they were flavorless and dry”, so I guess I didn’t miss much by not trying them. My girlfriend got their enchiladas, and a side of rice. Before I get into the atrocity that is the rice, the enchiladas were also disgusting, according to my girlfriend. It looked like there was just spaghetti sauce thrown on her enchiladas instead of the normal enchilada sauce you would find anywhere else. The look apparently wasn’t too far off from the taste, she said “it just tastes like tomato sauce”. Now for the rice… I never thought someone could make a bowl of rice look like spaghettio’s, but Tio’s somehow managed to do so. I again, did not try them because of the atrocity I was looking at. My girlfriend said they were hard, as if they were undercooked noodles. So I am again, glad I didn’t try them. I really am not the type of person to write reviews or complain at restaurants. The food here was just so comedically bad. I’m not going to sit here and say “I’m never coming back again” because they’ll be fine without my business, but I will tell you to save yourself the time and money. This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to in regards to their food. To whoever is in the kitchen, just pack it up at this point.

Fun atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff! I have mixed reviews on the food:

Guacamole – Pretty much as good as guac gets, one of the best I’ve had. Super creamy!

Taco Flight – I tried 4 different tacos and honestly just found the 3 with meat to be bland. They are SUPER loaded with meats and just didn’t love any of them. My favorite was the meatless one (the “Papa”), which was potatoes/cheese/sauce and pretty good.

I was not impressed, and I usually don’t have things to complain about. Dirty dishes, a margarita served in a tall glass, wine served in a dirty glass, water served in a dirty glass. This is my first experience here and it did not leave a good impression. The food was okay? I was not really enthused by the food. It seemed low quality for the price. The rice for my fajitas seemed under done, the fajita vegetables were lack luster really only being onion that didn’t have any char. My partner want happy with his food and for us spending almost 70 bucks, I expected better.

I have eaten at Tios for years, even when it was in a different location. I usually go alone and always feel comfortable doing so, while I might not at another restaurant. There is never any pressure to leave. And, I love the food, especially the quesadillos and the queso dip. The margaritas are strong and generously sized. Finally, the servers are all quick and attentive, but one named Jenny is particularly amazing and friendly. I am always happy when she is there! You cannot go wrong choosing Tios, whether alone or with others. It has the best Mexican food around!

Hi Tio’s team,

My name is Adam, and my newborn son is currently in the NICU at Von Voigtlander Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Yesterday, my wife and I, along with many other families in the unit, received the Thanksgiving lunch you generously provided.

I just wanted to reach out personally to say thank you. Being in the NICU is emotional and overwhelming, and holidays can feel especially heavy. Your meal brought a little bit of normalcy and comfort into a very difficult time. It gave us a moment to breathe and feel human again.

The food was incredible too. The stuffing was honestly the best we’ve ever had.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for thinking of families like ours during the holidays. It meant more than you know.

With gratitude,
Adam
