The servings were noticeably smaller and food was obviously microwaved with hardly any flavor at all. Place went downhill quick. Meatloaf looked like something you’d feed to a dog. The waitress was very nice though.

We decided to eat at this location as we’ve done many times before. However our waitress visited our seat four times in an hour took our order to include a salad. Any waitstaff knows salads come out before the meal not with the meal. It came out with the meal I needed a refill on my sweet tea upon the second visit she brought out the meal and asked what I had to drink. Then came back out with a pitcher of tea. Started to pour it in the glass. I had to stop her to ask for another glass. The spouse asked for a to go plate and a to go drink. Upon returning with one to go plate and two to go drinks I only had one drink and she’s literally pushing me out the door. If I was a supervisor I’d fire her on the spot that’s why I’m carrying my plates with food on them out the door as you see them in the pictures. I’m at Kroger and the dishes are in my truck as we speak. No one from seat to parking lot stopped me and there were 5 people I was in very close proximity to who works at Cracker Barrel.

For a country style chain, it’s decent country food, fast. There’s so much to look at, in the gift shop and in the restaurant. The game on the table is a nice touch and so is the fire place in the colder months. If you have someone to get a unique gift for, oddly enough I recommend shopping in their gift shop, sooooo many unique finds from retro candies, toys and goods, to funny mugs to gorgeous quilts and lamps. The food is decent, portions are a little small for the sides but they have a ton of classics to chose from. Also, it’s one of the best, more affordable steaks in town (little hidden gem for those protein fanatics) and if you love meatloaf try theirs. It’s a delicious cut, moist and really flavorful you won’t need any extra sauce. If you get the sampler, pick the Sunday style fried chicken and meatloaf because you get two sides and can have the dumplings as a side- it won’t come with chicken but you’ll have plenty on your plate with the Sunday fried. Trust me.

Where ever I land I always look for a Cracker Barrel Restaurant so I can make a comparison of food, atmosphere, and service. This is my second time here in Hot Springs, AR. The first visit was brunch time on Friday, it was busy but the service was quick. Today is Sunday afternoon, it’s busy but the wait was feasible.

My daughter and I had a very good experience dining in at this location. The service was outstanding, Christine did a terrific job to accommodate our order. My daughter had a cheese burger with fries while I had a steak with hash brown and eggs, both were yummy.

Awesome Awesome Awesome customer service. Very friendly. Great atmosphere. First time eating breakfast here. Did not disappoint. Country ham a bit salty but the biscuits were melt in your mouth good. Will definitely visit again. Rochelle was an amazing waitress. Cudos!!!❤️❤️

Food was good and definitely steps above other chains, but weird that they do not have oatmeal on the menu. The waitress was a little busy and scattered, but she was very nice. The shopping area was packed with lines of people trying to get tables at 10:00 am on Sunday. Almost impassable. Lots of frustration at first, but good once finally seated. With such a tourist town and lots of people in and out, especially on weekends, a better entry plan is needed.

As a family we love Craker Barrel, however this location has ruined it for us, probably for life. We drove almost an hour to have breakfast here. We were starving, our two young boys crashing being hungry difficult. We were soo looking forward to a good breakfast. First it was our coffees being delivered with a slam and the care a toddler gives a sipie cup. Then the food. After a good while of encouraging our kiddos that food is coming we were starvingly greeted with sausage that was more like a hocky puck, biscuits and gravy reminiscent of a gas station day old breakfast meal baskimg under the heatlamp. The gravy was so salty, just horrible. When we complained the waitress apologized and gave us our full check. Our son got sick at the table and vomited, we were so embarrassed. They did not offer to move the couple next to us. They did not rush to clean it up and would not allow us to. The worst experience ever. We will not return.
