Reviews
We came with a large group of extended family and were impressed with how accommodating and friendly the staff were. They even made thoughtful dish recommendations based on our group size and preferences, which made the experience even better.
We ordered quite a bit to share:
Beef Pancakes (a house specialty)
Lamb Skewers (spicy and non-spicy)
Lamb Dumplings
Pork Dumplings
Lamb Stir-Fried Hand-Pulled Noodles
Fresh Cucumber Salad
Overall, the food was delicious and flavorful. That said, if you’re not a fan of lamb (like me), just be aware that the lamb skewers and dumplings can be a bit gamey. The spicy skewers helped mask it a bit, thanks to a generous sprinkle of paprika.
Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the lamb stir-fried noodles–the lamb in that dish was melt-in-your-mouth tender and tasted more like beef than lamb to me. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try the beef pancakes due to dietary restrictions, but my cousins absolutely loved them and said they were a must-order.
The pork dumplings were a standout for me–juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And the cucumber salad was refreshing and balanced everything out nicely.
The restaurant has a small, casual diner vibe that gives it local charm–nothing fancy, but welcoming and perfect for sharing a flavorful meal with family or friends.
Good hand-pulled noodles, beef pancakes/rolls, handmade chewy dumplings. Yes! We want all of them.
Cash only -and you will have lots of food and change afterwards.
The owner was super friendly to me and she recommended me the two pancake that I ordered.
The pork pancake I got was really good. For the price is really big portion. And it was fresh out of the pan, so it was extremely hot, and there are also some meat juice inside.
The roll beef pancake was also very good. It has some green onions in the inside, which was a kick.
I don’t seem to find these kind of restaurants a lot in the city . So it’s a surprise to me.
I recommend visit here .
The service and ambiance were alright. I wouldn’t say either were notable. It took me a few tries to flag down a server to get water, but they were quick with the tea and with the food! Overall, I’d definitely come back here!
Friendly staff and service
One thing to mention is this a cash only establishment, but there is a Bank of America one block over if that works for you. Otherwise have cash on hand. Also, the restaurant isn’t very big, so expect to wait during peak times. You can check yelp, to place yourself on a waitlist. All in all this is a great restaurant and I highly recommend it.
Food: We got 9 dishes for 6 people and the favorites were the beef roll pancake, the hand pulled beef noodles, and the chive and pork dumplings! I loved the solid portions of food and the crispy flavor of the pancakes. The noodles were a little bland but still good!
Service: The waiters here are so nice! One guy who we assume was the manager stuck up conversation with us easily.
Ambiance: It’s definitely more casual but a small cramped space.
Overall, loved the food and experience and would come again! Cheap too.
The veggie dumpling was okay (would not get again) and the rib hand pulled noodles was also delicious.
Note: cash only!
One of the dishes that stood out to all of us were the green beans and garlic. Stir fried simply and to perfection. Also, I recommend ordering the more flavorful sesame pancake in place of the standard pancake. The sesame seeds add an extra nuttiness to the pancake.
The staff is friendly, the food wa served quickly and the place was clean. Parking can be a tad difficult to find, especially during peak hours.
