Came here with a group of friends for DineLA last month and it was such a great experience from start to finish.

For the set menu, we chose the original kung pao chicken, wontons in chili oil, mini lamb skewers, tea smoked pork ribs, and the impressive cold noodles. We also added the flaming pork jowl. For dessert, we ordered the purple rice mochi taro ball, which was really good, and they even gave us a fried taro ball after we sent them an IG DM. Nice little bonus.

Every single dish was amazing and the presentation honestly felt Michelin level. You can tell they really care about how the food looks and tastes. Our favorite was the tea smoked pork ribs. The flavor was deep and smoky, and the meat was tender. The kung pao chicken was a pleasant surprise. It was not your typical overly sweet takeout version. This one felt elevated and balanced. The cold noodles were also so good, super flavorful and refreshing. The flaming pork jowl wrapped in perilla leaves and dipped in their house sauce was next level.

The ambiance is modern and gives off high end vibes. Service was amazing across the board. All the servers were attentive and professional, and the whole experience almost felt like fine dining because everyone was so on point. Noise level was low, so we had no problem having a normal conversation.

Parking was easy for us on a weekday lunch. They have their own parking garage and there is also free street parking nearby. I can see weekends being more challenging though.

Definitely coming back to try more of their dishes. This spot really impressed us.

We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. The toothpick lamb was so good – it’s quite spicy for me but so flavorful I couldn’t stop eating. The boiling fish was very flavorful with different type of spicy. The bean jelly was great too.
The mustard greens was sautéed well, but next time I’d get it sautéed with garlic rather than just by itself. A minor complain is that the steamed rice was kind of dry.
This was my favorite Szechuan restaurant in the area 10 years ago when I lived in LA, and I’m happy to see that it’s now a Michelin guide restaurant. Will return next time I visit LA as well!

Went here last weekend after my foodie friend recommended it, and wow, this place knows Sichuan! Super popular with locals—be ready for a wait. Tried the *Seven Miles Crispy Bones*—oh my goodness, that tea-smoked flavor combined with the crispy texture? Unreal! And gotta say, the *Bamboo Skewer Lamb* was next-level too. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and not even a hint of gaminess. It’s clear why they’ve been in the Michelin Guide for so long; everything feels premium yet authentic. Plenty of options for parents and kiddos too. Definitely worth a stop if you’re near Disneyland or cruising by the 5 Freeway!

Sichuan Impression in Alhambra never disappoints! The flavors are authentic, bold, and perfectly balanced — true to traditional Sichuan cuisine. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients and that signature numbing spice that makes it so addictive.
The service is friendly and efficient even when the restaurant is busy, and the atmosphere feels lively but comfortable.

This spot is legit for authentic Sichuan food! A friend raved about it, so we checked it out—and wow, it’s got all the vibes you’d expect from classic Chinese cuisine. The *Seven-Layer Fragrance Ribs* were unreal—crispy outside, tender inside, and that hint of tea-smoked flavor? Chef’s kiss. They’ve got non-spicy options too, so perfect for everyone in the group. Definitely worth a stop if you’re craving bold flavors!

Decent food but not super authentic. The environment is nice and clean but they don’t have warm water, and rice is extra. The food is tasty but on the expensive side, you can find similar quality near by probably 20% cheaper. The taste definitely cater to more western profile

Oh wow, I stumbled upon this spot near Disney and dude, their food is something else. Tried the wood-grilled 松板肉—like, what even?! The smell hit first, then the crunch—it’s crazy tender but has this slight crisp. And oh, they light it up at your table with some alcohol thing. lol, dramatic but fun. Also, that 七里香酥骨! Smoky with tea vibes? Insane layers of flavors. Tbh, never thought 川菜 could feel this chill yet totally legit.
