It’s a shame, as soon as you step in, no one says hello or anything. They just stare at you like you have to assume to follow them. The waiters were really rude she had a nasty attitude. The food is cheap so you literallyget what you pay for . The food tastes like nothing and it looks plain. Like there is no love put in to make it. The manu is big so you do have a fewplates to choose from . But I wouldn’t go back to a place that treats you like they don’t need your business.

Service was very slow due to what it looked like only one to two waitresses on floor. My problem: I ordered a drink and my waitress stated that I could change my drink out of I did not like it. I did just that. When she finally made back to us I stated to my waitress that I did not like my drink and I pointed to what my friend had and stated that I would that instead. The waitress stated ok the mango I said yes. Night came to end for us and it’s now time to pay. I get to the register and she is trying to charge me for the drink I stated to her that I did not want. She asked me what happened to the drink. I stated I left it on the table which I did. She stated that since I did not hand her the other drink after telling her I did not want it that she had to charge me for it. I told her that was not my job to hand her the drink that I did not want nor did I drink it and stated to her that I was not paying for that drink. She carried on saying someone had to pay for or it would have to come out of her pocket. That’s was not my problem nor did I pay for the drink you heard me say I did not want. Yes she understood me and understood English. She did state she heard me say that but yet never took the drink off the table. ‍♀️
She had a nasty attitude!! Serviced sucked from her. We waited almost an hour just to order food. Long waits to order the drinks in the first place. All in all bad service! Food was great tho! Loved my plate.

Very large and open space. Full service bar. There are a few sections. They also have pool tables. I had the Sopa de Mariscos! It was fabulous. The service was great. The food was hot, delicious and Authentic! I will definitely visit again.

As someone who truly loves and appreciates our delicious Central American food, I was really hoping La Choza would be a good spot. While the food itself was okay and showed a little bit of potential, the experience was unfortunately ruined by the incredibly poor service we received.
​The quality of service was so bad that it completely erased any positive feelings we had toward the meal. It’s genuinely disappointing when a lack of attentiveness or professionalism overshadows the hard work put into the kitchen.
​It’s clear this restaurant has potential, but based on our visit, it seems to lean much more heavily toward being a bar than a dedicated dining establishment. If that is their focus, they should manage expectations accordingly.
​We really hate leaving negative reviews, especially for a place serving the food we love, but the level of service was unacceptable. We hope the management takes a serious look at improving their front-of-house operations so that the restaurant can live up to its potential.
​Overall: Decent food, but the truly awful service made for a disappointing evening.

My son enjoyed the cheese Popusas which is Salvadorian food and his dessert. I enjoyed my mexican cocktail shrimp and my husband enjoyed the Salvadorian steak, beers and the pool table section they have in the back. The chips and salsa weren’t the best but everything was delicious

Very rude and unprofessional service. There was already food on the table when I arrived, but no one told me it was mine. The worker took my card without saying anything, printed the receipt, and walked away without letting me know the transaction was done. Another employee brought a drink with no straw and didn’t say anything either—and it wasn’t even the correct drink. I stayed longer because I didn’t want to take food that wasn’t mine. Basic communication and respect were completely lacking.

Came in on a Friday night and was seated right away. The service was pretty good. Everything we got was excellent. The pictures don’t do the food justice. I would say it’s more authentic than anything else around town. Most other places to me are Mex/American. I would recommend giving them a try. Still pretty good.

Tonight I was at this restaurant, the food was good and the waitress was nice, yeah is true that we stayed 10 minutes after they closed it was 9:10 9:15 and a girl (who did not even say hi or anything us just show up) told us that we had to leave. I have been a bartender/waiter and manager for the last 10 years and NEVER in any restaurant have I been treated like this or I have kicked out to my customers. I was a little surprised by their attitude, I don’t know if it was something personal or if they just need a class of customer service.
