The food was really good and we had fun with our cook. Everything was flavored well. The ginger sauce was a bit salty though. The soup that came out with the salad was really good. It did take a bit of time for our chef to come over and begin but it was worth the wait. The restaurant is a bit smaller than other hibachi places I’ve been to but we were seated quickly so no complaints. I will certainly come back with my family.

I had terrible food poisoning from there sushi. I was sick for about 6 hours throwing up. I have eaten t here before with no problem. It will be a long time til I go back. Never had reaction to sushi before. Even the Martin’s sushi is better. Very disappointed.

I’ll occasionally come by for the sushi deals, today I came in and got the sushi ramen combinations, I got the two rolls + buldak ramen, everything was exceptional! I’m a bit picky when it comes to my raw sushi but this was fresh and tasted great! My server, Erika, was sweet and very attentive. They definitely have my business!

I can’t comment on the hibachi, but the sushi is good and decently priced, especially Tuesday-Thursday when it’s half off with a drink purchase. Inside the decor leaves a little be desired as the age of the restaurant is quite obvious. My only real complaint is the wait staff, who seem to be disorganized and can take a while to return to your table.
Update – The restaurant is now under new management. They have limited the half-price sushi to the hours of 12p-3p Monday – Thursday. The food seems to be the same.

I hate to say it but if i would be able to put no stars i absolutely would. this place DISSAPOINTED me tonight. my family and i have been going here for YEARS. we walked in tonight (thursday) and went to sit at a sushi table. one person ordered a soda and the other ordered a water. the waiter told the one person that if they were getting the 50% off sushi then they needed to order another drink. understandable. we then got our drinks and went ahead and ordered food. a 16 year old went to order an $18 and some odd change kids meal. and we got looked at and got told “you don’t look 12 or under”. we told the server that the person can not eat a lot of food. and it’s none of their business on why they can’t eat a lot. the server went and talked to the manager and they manager still wouldn’t make an exception. we then told the server that we will just pay for the drinks we ordered and leave. we then got told the drinks would just be on the house.
we are very upset about your business “policy” and the “service” you guys provided tonight. like i said we have been coming here for years. we saw an old cook their tonight and he told us how he was returning for a couple of weeks to where we were going to also return TOMORROW night. we have never had this type of issue with this business. but we will now not be returning.

Ordered the filet like I’ve been doing for years from this restaurant, but got a new chef preparing our food, he proceeded to mix up our steak with the sirloin or whichever cut they use for the cheaper meals, skimped out entire side of the table on all other food, and to top it off I realized only after getting home that they never even gave us the to go food we paid for with our order at the grill. I’ve always loved the place but if you don’t get the right chef you’ll be disappointed.

A good dining experience spoiled by poor management choices and not honoring advertisements for 50% off sushi. Apparently the new management decided to put up banners (2) advertising 50% off sushi from tues-thursday except on holidays. We came on a Wednesday (not a holiday) and it was not honored when it came time to pay the bill. When current management was confronted about this it was passed off, and I was told that it only applied in August. Nowhere on the banners did it say it only began in August, and no one clarified this when we ordered sushi. This is just poor management practices and straight up deception and false advertising from both old and new to allow this to take place. I have never been so livid with a dining experience. If they let things like this happen up front, who knows what other sneaky things they’re doing behind the scenes too. I will never return.
