The hurtful truth
For the prices they charge, the quality and service just didn’t match. Overall, I’d rate this place about the same as an average fast-food restaurant, and I don’t feel it was worth what we paid.
I really wanted to enjoy our visit to Tequila Mexican Restaurant, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. We ordered a plain, well-done hamburger for our infant daughter, and when we got home we discovered it wasn’t cooked thoroughly and had lettuce cheese salt.Also her rice and beans we ask for plan and they put cheese and pepper! My T-bone steak was also undercooked it practically felt like it was still walking had to pick off the good parts!
On the positive side, the dessert was good and the chicken mole was also very good. The waiter in the front was friendly, but the older lady working there was rude and didn’t repeat the order to make sure everything was correct. They also forgot to give me my drink.

We went to this restaurant in hopes of finding our new go to local Mexican restaurant and were disappointed. The service was great, but the food was overpriced and not very good.
For drinks, we both ordered a frozen margarita and they were the kind that is very icy and watered down. We ordered a medium, but ended up with a jumbo that were $19 each. For the chips and dip I’m almost certain theyre store-bought and not house made.
For main meals, I got the chicken en mole. The sauce was extra extraordinarily sweet. Other fans of mole will know that there’s a difference between a slightly sweet mole that is traditional and one that is way over sweetened. The portion size was fine. The tortillas served with this dish were definitely store-bought.
My husband got one of the dinner combinations with a chimichanga and burrito. He said it was just OK.
Overall, this place was overpriced (nearly $100 for two entrees and two drinks) and not very good even for Colorado Mexican restaurant standards.

The food was ok. Over priced for subpar tasting food. The drinks were really great. I just can’t get over the fact those enchiladas were $16 without any sides. Tostada chips were really good but the table salsa had no flavor or spice to it. Tasted like tomato sauce. Not sure if I see myself returning.

Greg menu for a variety pages to choose from kids menu also huge variety. I got the seafood enchiladas which were delicious. We got the beef fajitas also prepared very well of course the chips and dip when you sit down our waiter Jesus was very nice very attentive and brought us stuff right away Plenty of seating both outside and inside and in the bar area parking lot was a free parking lot and there was plenty easy to get in and out of not too far from the freeway

The food is great. The drinks are great. The serving staff is great, but the female manager that set people who walked in the door Saturday afternoon is definitely a rotten egg and a good explanation on IF her staff does have a poor attitude it starts with her. She is the reason why I couldn’t find myself to give this place five stars because she was the first person we saw when we walked in and it was not welcoming whatsoever.
We were not greeted with a smile we were greeted with a can’t be bothered face.
We were sat at a table, even though she has seen me many times she knows damn well I don’t like tables, but she does it anyway. The table was in a walkway where I felt everybody’s wind every time they walked by and they were broken chairs at my table that I had to remove and replace myself. All around bad attitude she really has no business being there. She is spreading her negativity to her staff and I feel sorry for them.

Sorry to say but I didn’t enjoy this spot much. They sat us at a table that was not comfortable at all. I felt squished. We had 7 people and was crammed in to a booth. So I had no room to really eat. Although to be honest the food wasn’t all that great either. I got a burrito and it was stuffed with onions and bell peppers a little bit of meat and shrimp. I wasn’t impressed. Was actually dissatified. I didn’t eat the burrito I took a few bites and didn’t want it. Sad to say I will not be returning!

Overall, great experience! Some of the female waitresses need some more training. Cleaning tables and ignoring customers is odd and I was annoyed for a good 10 minutes until we were acknowledged. The gentleman are fantastic!!! I enjoy when they take care of us. I get disappointed when one of the gals assist.

First time here and I will definitely be back. The food was delicious. The menu has so many great options. They have a lunch menu from 11 am to 3 pm daily which is really nice since most places don’t serve the lunch menu on the weekends. The portions are filling. The salsa has a kick to it but it’s very tasty. I recommend the Gordo burrito. The green chili isn’t too spicy which is nice since I don’t like extremely spicy foods.
