This is our first pho restaurant since moving to Rochester and it is exactly what we were looking for.
Ive had a lot of pho in my life and as pho in the US goes, this was very good. A little salt heavy, but the broth had perfect fat content and did taste very good. They use vermicelli noodles as opposed to the flat pho noodles but thats typical of restaurants that dont make their own noodles. Vermicelli noods are good too.
I noticed they have bun bo hue as well which is a great central dish and one you dont see often at non central VN specific restaurants. Long story short, well be back, probably with moderate regularity.

My mom and I came here the Saturday after Christmas. It was one of the few pho places open during the holidays. We had 2 pho tai and an order of egg rolls and oolong tea. Excellent flavors all around. We also enjoyed a generous plate of basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños and limes to add to the soup. Servers were friendly and helpful- they genuinely wanted us to enjoy it. Would love to come back.

When saigon is next door, it should be criminal to serve walmart jasmine rice and use white bread for your bahn mi.. really? Probably sold to a chinese owner , using walmart level white rice in asian cuisine bruh, and using wegmans white bread for the bahn mi . Not vietnamese cooking for sure.
What has me more worried is these 5 star reviews , i Dont think anyone in Rochester knows what viet food should taste like lol. Probably why they put asian-American as the name because they are using great value rice and american white bread for a sandwhich typically made using french bread.
Call Saigon and see where they get their bread from, then buy a actual commercial style rice cooker and get rice from the asian supermarket. Don’t use greatvalue short grain rice, use jasmine rice please .

Great sense of warmth from staff and service was very polite and quick (It was late on a Monday so not very busy.) food was wonderful! Very satisfied with flavors and combos…
We both left feeling like these were genuinely kind people- we’d probably go back even if we thought the food was so so just to have the vibe!

Always a good experience here. I normally call in and get pho to go (btw I read a review below that the food was raw and they had to throw it out… You ding dong, the food is fresh and the broth will cook your raw meat lol). I love the pho broth, excellent flavor and delicious every time! Took my mama out to lunch and was able to grab some photos – the fresh spring rolls were big and packed… So good!!! The staff was very nice and friendly. She enjoyed it here, so we shall be back!

They have delicious choices , but i get the chicken pho everytime i go with my fiance and it never misses. Everyone is so welcoming and sweet. I got my chicken pho delivered today and they raised the bar. I love them , they are my favorite spot

Delicious food! Stopped in for lunch on a weekday with a friend. I tried the Thai basil lo mein, which was excellent, and she had the summer rolls and banh mi. She said it’s the best banh me she has found in Rochester so far!

My favorite vietnamese restaurant in Rochester! For context, I’m Vietnamese-American and have lived in SF, NA, NYC, and the food here is comparable to any authentic restaurant I’ve been to in other cities. My favorite dish is Bun Bo Hue and Banh Coun, and my boyfriend loved the Hu Tieu Mi Vit. The only gripe I have is that they often sell out of dishes I crave that day. Nonetheless, we come back often

The food was average (the soup was raw – we had to throw it out!) and one of the items was in a smaller portion than other places. The cashier was not nice and made us feel not welcomed. I don’t think we’ll go to this place again. Try next door or somewhere else if you’re looking for food in the area.
