Coffee was AWESOME!!!!! I got an iced vanilla latte, and a cinnamon scone. Everything was awesome, staff were great! If you like semi sweet iced coffee, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!!

It’s not worth the price. It’s quaint and cute, but $16.72 for two medium lattes and a breakfast croissant is what Starbucks is charging. The fresh coffee was decent, but I will not be coming back.

They have Gluten Free delicious muffins! I had the pumpkin chocolate chip and it was great! They also use whey protein instead of gross pea protein! This is such a great spot for a small town with very little options for food. This place saved my trip.

Slowest Joe beans around. Give yourself at least 30 minutes! Most of the time the staff ignores you or talks amongst themselves while the coffee is being prepared or the order taken. The coffee is still amazing, but they need to work on service big time. I would love to come more often but I just can’t due to how long they take to make a cup.

We’ve been wanting to stop and we finally did. Fast service, very friendly and seriously the best coffee ever. Much, much better than you know who. Super happy with our new find! Next time… a smoothie!

Look it pains me to do this because I’ve supported this business for over 5 years now and took up for it over the massive Starbucks but this isn’t it anymore. I go to get two coffees and one being an iced cozy campfire. The iced coffee was very bad, as in so milky you couldn’t taste coffee or flavorings. I was told that I have to pay for another coffee for it to be remade because it was “made properly the way it’s supposed to be”. Really? So I have to pay for your mistakes or because the mix was bad? Really? This is something that Starbucks won’t do to you and if it happens corporate will make it right. This is so sad because I come here almost everyday. I spend typically 70+ dollars a week here but now I nor my GF will be coming back ever again. I will not support a business who treats their regular customers or, any like this for the matter ever again. You should absolutely never charge a customer for something you messed up or just didn’t come out right. I’m done with this place. It’s clear nobody cares about their job, the customers or quality of their products.

Delicious coffee and open on Sunday!
Many places you get a mocha and it essentially tastes like hot chocolate and not a coffee, but this place the mocha was the perfect balance of coffee to chocolate. They offer a wide range of flavor syrups to add to coffees as well. The prices were perfectly reasonable.
Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Joe Bean’s is amazing! Great coffee, delicious smoothies, and moist muffins (try the Harvest muffin!). The frozen chai is a must, and I love their fair trade, sustainable products. Definitely coming back!

Love Joe Beans, especially here in Appomattox! They always make my weird drink just right, and it’s always fast and yummy! Thanks so much!

Well a couple month ago I go with one of their loyalty card that needs 2 more punches for a free drink and I ask the young lady for 3 drinks and I want the 3rd one free. She says she can’t do that, I’d have to buy all three. I explained that I get a free drink after 2 more purchases, she claimed she understood but those were the rules. I said so if I buy 2 drinks then get back in line, then you’ll give me the free drink? Her eyes kinda glazed over for a couple seconds then she said yeah, sorry that’s the rules. I went ahead and bought all three and came back another time and used the free drink card. She was either clueless or the management has really stupid rules. Anyway I let that go but decided today to leave a bad review. I went today to get a drink. While she was making it I ate a $1 tiny bag of peanuts and when she came to give me my drink I asked her if she would be so kind as to throw the tiny tiny, clear empty bag away. She said sorry I can’t do that. Now I understand I can’t give her a Walmart bag full of trash or even a empty can that she can’t see what’s in it but I was asking her to throw away the equivalent of the paper that would be removed from a straw. I’m sure they do have a rule to not throw away trash which is understandable but use some commonsense. Now the drinks are usually good and the employees usually very nice but with these 2 instances I’m left with the impression that they really like to say NO whenever afforded the opportunity instead of appreciative of their customers.
