This was our first time at a Japanese steakhouse and my first time trying sushi. It was fantastic! The portions were large and filling and our server Terri was so nice and helped us with the menu since we’d never been in before. It’s such a random spot for such a place but it was amazing and we will definitely be back. Everyone should try this place!

So glad they moved into a bigger place. Sushi was delicious and the sashimi tasted fresh. Crab rangoon and egg rolls were hot and packed full of flavor. The chicken hibachi was cooked ok, chicken very tender but was a little bit dry. Nothing that some sweet and sour sauce couldn’t fix. Food was displayed very well. The sushi and sashimi plates were decorated beautifully and made you want to eat them. The foil pack was called temptation of fire, a sushi roll they light on fire and when it burns out then you can eat it. Definitely one of my favorite rolls to get. Rolls has a nice smoky flavor. Got a bottle of apple saki and it was very good! Tasted like apples, little sweet with a hint of sour. Our server was very on top of things even with it being a Friday night and very busy. Over all our experience here for my sons birthday was awesome. So glad we have such a nice sushi place closer to home and don’t have to venture farther north towards Kansas City to get sushi. Loved when they had the small place, but now we love it even more. Definitely go back and go back often.

Eaten here MANY times, and the food and service is ALWAYS, PERFECT! It’s better than anything you’ll find in Kansas City! Well worth the drive from the city. Will eat here MANY more times!

Tonight kamrion was our server, she is a thorough going professional, and a very attentive server. The service here has always been WAY above par, and tonight has been no exception! Food is alway exceptional and the service is without peer! You truly owe it to yourself to stop in for dinner!

Good friendly service, clean. Family ran. Food was just OK for me, biggest negative for me was the soup tasted like a chemical. Shrimp was pretty good. A little pricey for me. Lots of parking available. Small Sushi bar available.

I was just starting to like the place too but I called in to get what I always get a chicken hibachi that was $12 dollars but now this lady says the total is $18. She said the soup and the rice are add ons!? I told her I want to cancel my order and she giggled like it was good she lost a customer. I will not be going to this place again and I will be calling the manager this is horrible customer service and the food is mid!

It’s tough rating a restaurant after only attending one time. Very kind service staff and a nice, clean atmosphere. We ordered sushi, it was just OK. To be fair, we are big sushi fans and have a pretty high bar for it.
It appears that their food is loved because by 6, the dining areas were approaching half full. So that’s great!
Overall, a good experience, but I don’t think we will be back if sushi is the main craving.
The diet coke was spot on though!

When we arrived there was only one other couple and it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered and it was slightly warm. this is unusually long for Sushi. It arrived shortly after I said something, so I believe that it was completed earlier and the waiter forgot to retrieve it. The overall quality of the food was good and the value and presentation were excellent. We shared the Love Boat fo $50. It was more than we could eat.
