My wife, I & and good friend met up to check this place out. We went in around 2pm and the place was empty it was just us. 1st off the food was literally amazing, full of flavor & great presentation the meal was very good. The other part was not as good. As I stated we were the only table at 2pm with a full staff and it took them over 1 hour to serve us we got there at 2pm and our main dishes were served at 310pm. The lady who served us was very nice and friendly however I ordered fried rice for my curry and she brought me white rice, please note she did take some money off of the final check for forgetting the fried rice. The other problem is this is a Eurasia restaurant that was playing some sort of loud mix of hip hop and emo music that was not really the appropriate music for a dinning setting.. Although we really enjoyed the food, most likely we will not be going back, Allowing your customers to have to wait 1+ hours for their meal is torture and unacceptable especially when one enters and establishing already hungry and expects the standard of a brand bearing “by Chef Michel” . I rated the service and atmosphere 3 stars because of the wait and the unorthodox music that was playing quite loudly at times. The food however is definitely 5 star+. I understand that Prescott is very laid back but if you are going to advertise all over that the brand is by Chef Michel than you should adhere to holding that standard in everything that represents the restaurant, the food, staff, service & atmosphere. I wish you the best of luck and hope you take my critique and use it to better the establishment because the food was very good !!

Update:
Since they replied to my review I just want to clarify. 1. Yes the appetizers did come out within 20 min(still very long to wait for soup and dumplings) the rest of the meal took over 40 min to arrive. 2. The music was not French Cafe style, it was definitely hip hop and out of character for this type of restaurant. I know owners do not like when you critique their restaurant but as you can see I’m a level 6 reviewer hence I have many reviews under my belt. I am very honest in my reviews and attempt to let any future diners aware of different aspects about and in the establishment.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on Google while looking for a place for some comfort food.
They sold me the moment I saw Malaysian curry laksa.

Upon entering, Clarissa greeted me with warm welcomes, I ordered the curry laksa.
Coming to find out, Chef Michel had lived in Malaysia (my home country) for about 11 years.

I trusted his experience in Malaysian cooking more as the flavors are very complex.
The food was delicious. It hit the spot for me. It tasted as authentic as it can get in my fair opinion.
The sesame balls hit the spot for dessert too. It wasn’t overly sweet which is HUGE for me. I loved it so so much.

Now, not only the food was AMAZING, but Chef and his wife Clarissa are such wonderful and amazing people. I enjoyed our conversations about the world and food. It was such a pleasant and beautiful experience to meet someone who understands Malaysian culture and food.

would most certainly recommend coming here for the food. I would love to be back here when I’m in town.

Wow! We walked in tonight not knowing what to expect, but this little mom & pop shop made us feel like family. They answered my questions about ingredients since I’m limited in what I can eat while breastfeeding my son with dairy/soy sensitivity, and were very communicative in case we wanted to share our meals.

Every dish was delicious. We had Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, and Crab Puffs for appetizers. My husband was impressed with the Hot & Sour Soup. Our entrees were Chicken Pad Thai, Red Curry with Shrimp, Chicken Katsu, and Egg Foo Yung. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff was very welcoming and took our reservation for 4 adults plus a stroller. It’s not easy to find a place downtown that will go to those lengths for you.

We went for the Easter dinner, once again the food was EXCELLENT, they are genuinely passionate about what they do, also so friendly, the wait staff was also so friendly. All the items I tried were delicious but the stand out for me was the Brisket with Asian BBQ sauce wow just wow, I over indulged on that but it was so so good!! Every time I leave I can’t wait to go back and taste what Chef has created.

Adorable place. Being one of the only Dim Sum places in town we were so excited. But we were let down greatly. The boa buns saved the meal, but even the dough there was really dense. Our crab puffs were greasy, lo mein noodles were hard and our shrimp dumplings were seriously lacking in flavor. Gorgeous food but we won’t be coming back

Excellent meal here last night. It was so refreshing to find freshly cooked, very tasty and authentic food.
We had the Korean beef bulgogi and the Filipino chicken/pork adobo and both were really good as were the potstickers we had as a starter. We overheard several other diners commenting on how much they enjoyed it also.
Service from Clarissa was very friendly and efficient, and after our meal we spoke with her and Michel and they are both lovely. They’re very passionate about their place and rightly so as it really was good.

Took my wife who has dietary restrictions and was blown away. The menu was awesome. I got the green curry and it was the best I’ve ever had. The portion was perfect. My wife got the seared ahi tuna, and it was great! The ingredients were so fresh, from the spring roll appetizer to the asparagus. Can’t wait to come back!
