You can see from a photo how greasy the basket of curds had been, but they were good & their “Poultrygeist” was a great deal–excellent grilled chicken sandwich & decent fries for $10. They also had Riverwest Stein on tap!

Stopped in for lunch. Double Bacon Cheeseburger & basket of Onion Rings. The Cheeseburger was outstanding, well seasoned, juicy, cooked to perfection!! Onion rings were excellent as well and a very generous portion! Friendly service with a smile! Also enjoyed a Bloody Mary! If you love a good Burger, I highly recommend stopping in to Walter’s on North! I’ll be back!!

Went to Walter’s on March 7 and tried to play music on their TouchTunes. Come to find out they have most Spanish music and HipHop music from black artists blocked. It’s pretty disappointing to know a place in my neighborhood is intentionally limiting artists – especially minority artists of color – like that. Censorship much?!?
Music should be about bringing people together and celebrating different cultures, not filtering them out. Wauwatosa is better than that and everyone should know that Walter’s does not share our same community values… what a shame. This confirms I need to think twice about where I choose to spend my time and money locally.

Came here for the first time to play trivia. The place has super cool, old school vibes. My husband and I were admiring all the unique glass lamps. The place was packed, and they had only 2 staff manning everything. They were hustling and had great attitudes considering how busy they were. They definitely could have used another person helping them. The menu was small, but very reasonably priced. We tried the cheeseburger, fries and cheese curds. For bar food, it was decent. Not super flavorful, but we enjoyed it for what it was. While trivia was fun at this location, and the host did a good job, it is clear they have a lot of regulars who make themselves known. These people were pretty obnoxious and would talk over the host or yell out answers. Not sure we will be back for trivia, but may come on a different night of the week if in the area.

Angela is an amazing bartender! No sugar coating anything. Funny and very very attentive!
The food quality has gone way down here.
The burger was super thin, buns and tots all not the same. We were all so hungry and ate what we had.
I wouldn’t recommend eating here, but the tap Beer selection and the Angela made the stop worth it!
It used to be one of my favorite stops for a quick beer and burger.

A nice, quite, neighborhood bar. Whomever called this and “Dive bar” has no idea what a “Dive bar” is. It’s clean and well kept. Decent crowd. Food is just basic bar food but they do have special nights and a special burger weekly. Under staffed the last time that I was in. Plenty of gambling games.

Standard flat top burger but the fixin are nice and fresh, tots were surprisingly good, perfectly crispy, stiff drinks!, classic Milwaukee neighborhood bar. Excellently salty bartender. Good service
