I could give 0 ratings if I could. I ordered veg thali. Chicken was harder than a rubber and I could not figure out whether that was really chicken or not. I could taste the rice was cooked like a week ago, starchy taste all over. Curry was also the same, felt liked cooked few days ago. Naan was straight from the frozen. Horrible service. No one came to take the order. No onions and instead served cabbage. I somehow finished the roti with touch of gravy there and just left. I really wanted to nice Indian food after more than a week of western food and this was the worst experience than lowest rated restaurants I have ever been. Kheer was barely anything just milk and rice and same story very old starchy stale rice. All food was stale and horrible. I COULD NOT EAT IT. I genuinely want my money back. Samosa was oily and potato inside was literally tasting a little tangy like they served me stale food. I am genuinely concerned about my health. I want compensation if anything happens to me within 48 hours now.
and not to mention, the lady who served me thali had her hands wet and ew…. cashier was just lazy and sitting at the counter and even when I asked for some water, no water for me. and toilet was absolutely dirty. Public toilets are better maintained than this one.

I recently tried Spice King, an Indian restaurant that truly delivers when it comes to flavor. The dishes were packed with rich, bold spices, making every bite a treat. The food is definitely the highlight here—well-seasoned, well-cooked, and above average in quality.
Service-wise, it was just okay—not bad, but nothing particularly outstanding either. The staff was efficient, but there wasn’t much warmth or attentiveness to the experience.
The décor, on the other hand, was below average. It didn’t quite match the quality of the food, feeling a bit plain and uninspired. However, if you’re more focused on great-tasting Indian food, this is a spot worth considering.
Overall, Spice King might not win any awards for ambiance, but if you’re looking for flavorful, satisfying Indian cuisine, it’s definitely a solid choice!

I ordered Chole Puree, Dahi Vada and Kheer:
Puree/Puri was so oily that I could feel my arteries getting blocked while eating it. There was barely any onion given on the side along with this pricey dish. Even the Chole quantity was less. The Chole tasted same as any other curry on the menu instead of tasting like Chole.
Dahi vada was extremely salty and sour(due to their green chutney which was old). The vada was so dry and hard and the provided dahi was so less to even get rid of dryness while eating it .
The Kheer quantity was so less it got over within less than 10 spoons (and i was using a tiny plastic spoon). Kheer tasted good though.
My guess is that there was 1 person working in the back and there was no other customer I came in – still took me 45-50 mins to get the food. During this timeframe, I didn’t even get a glass of water. Also the restroom is out of service.
I was planning to ask them about their delivery service but i can’t afford to go through Angioplasty by the year end.

This is all about the food. After all it’s a place in a food court which used to be a bubble tea shop. Any service complaint is laughable as this is in a food court so everything is essentially to-go. The area can get really crowded, especially after games and events at the stadiums. Service is obviously worse during those times. My food despite it being one of those times was available as they said in 7ish minutes.
That being said the food here I’ve tried so far is excellent. Classic Indian American options. Their rice is a little basic but I’ve never liked biryani rice it’s a bit too dry for me. I enjoyed my large portion for several days. I would purchase here again on a day I’d like to have ‘fancy’ Indian food as opposed to the pre packed grocery store options. I love all the veggie options! Indian food for the win!

Absolutely phenomenal! We loved this place so much, we came back twice during our trip to Seattle, the food is just that amazing. The meat was incredibly tender, I loved the Garlic Naan and Tikka Masala. My husband loved the Butter chicken and Lamb Curry. Every dish was bursting with flavor! The staff were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We live all the way in Virginia and still daydream about their food! Truly grateful for such a memorable experience. Thank you!

Spice King truly has my heart. I walked in to get absolutely assaulted by the wonderful smells of the food. We ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, which came out in only about 10 minutes. Portions were good, everyone in the group was sufficiently full and the flavors were rich in each dish. For those concerned about spiciness levels, you are able to curate your dish to fit your spice tolerance from a scale of 0-5. Overall, Spice King is an excellent choice for those who want to get a mouthful of top tier Indian food.

Went to Spice King right before they closed. It was soooo good. I firmly believe that you can’t be sad eating Indian Food. My butter lamb hit a spot in my soul that was so comforting. The lamp patya was fantastic. You will not be disappointed eating here.

Excellent flavor for a great price. I got their curry special which was some of the most flavorful curry I’ve had in a while along with some nice naan for $13. My wife got their curry special Tika which was also fantastic. You order and pay ahead but they do have a decent space to sit down and eat.

Did not have the courtesy to serve us water. The food did not have salt and was RAW. We ordered pakoda (raw on the inside), paneer burji (no salt), and lacha paratha ( no salt and raw). To top it off, the place wasn’t clean, felt unhygienic.
Do not recommend!
