I’m giving Home Run Hotdogs three stars mainly because of the great customer service. The cashier and prep staff were very friendly, personable, and welcoming, which definitely made a positive impression.
Finding the entrance was a little confusing, though. Because of the brewery right off the parking lot, you kind of have to walk through the grass or go through the brewery patio to get to the small restaurant entrance, which could be clearer for first-time visitors.
The setup is cute — a small hot dog spot connected to a brewery, with a winery on the other side. I liked having multiple options in one area, and I do plan to come back to check out the winery.
I ordered the Chicago-style hot dog with fries. The price was reasonable (a little under $6), and they give a huge amount of fries — honestly more than needed for one hot dog. The fries were just okay and a bit overly salted, although they do provide plenty of ketchup. The hot dog itself was decent but nothing particularly standout.
Overall, a basic experience, but the friendliness of the staff is what brought it up to three stars.

We stopped by for an Italian beef sandwich and it was great! My husband and I both ordered the Bullpen Beef, mine with hot giardiniera and his with mozzarella. The beef was nicely thin cut, piled high and flavorful. I appreciate that the giardiniera had a nice kick of heat. We are looking forward to coming back!

The staff was friendly, very nice environment but the food is unfortunately not good. To start the beef is not Chicago style beef. It was thick cut, dry and tasted like a store bought container . We ordered it juicy/wet/dipped whatever you may call it and it definitely wasn’t; even with the hot peppers. The hot dog was barely warm which obviously ruined it but the toppings were on point. I wish I could give a better review as we love supporting local businesses but we left very disappointed

I stopped in on a Monday night for $2 hot dogs. They serve a proper Chicago Style Dog here, which was great. The fries were also good. The staff seemed friendly and the location is nice, right next to a brewery! I would come again.

We ordered last night for 3 people, only 1 person was able to eat there food. My jumbo chicago style was good. The 2 regular hotdogs very tough and chewy and tasted bad and over cooked. Fries very under cooked and raw. Nachos cheese tasted right out of can and not heated. I was disappointed and embarrassed as both kids food was un editable, so tossed all but the chicago jumbo.

I’ve been wanting to try Home Run Dogs ever since they took over for the brewery, and finally stopped in. We ordered the chicken strips, fries, and a beef sandwich.
They’ve got some nice daily specials — $2 hot dogs on Mondays and $5 beefs on Thursdays — which is a great deal. The beef special was probably my favorite part of the meal.
The chicken strips were okay but a little small compared to what you get at other places. I wasn’t a big fan of the fries — they use an air fryer for their fried foods. They lacked traditional flavor of fried, fries and some were just too hard.
Overall, a decent spot with good prices, but a few things could be improved. I might come back to try the Monday hot dog special and see how that is.

Food, prices and staff are great. The kids love going and have lunch followed by some ice cream. My picky eater loved their pizza puffs, mozzarella sticks and their home made lemonade. Can’t beat their $2 hot dogs on mondays.

First time visiting this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Super clean, great food, fast and super friendly service. Toni and Vincent were awesome and so sweet talking to my kids while we waited for our food. Will definitely be back!

Really need to figure things out. Been here four times. Been about a month and a half between visits. Food has been good but very sporadic. Sometimes raw fries, other times food sitting under a heat lamp for way too long. Way understaffed on busy weekends. Online orders are forgotten about. Staff tell you. Have to wait, after an order was put in 40 mins prior.
