Great gluten free pizzas. Servers were friendly and helpful. Even though they couldn’t guarantee any cross contamination they said that they’d take precautions when preparing the gf pizzas.
The atmosphere was nice with rain. We sat outside and it was warm enough.
The food was okay. We had the Brussels sprouts, arancini, green salad and tenderfoot pizza. Overall would recommend the salad and brussel sprouts. The arancini was okay and the pizza felt salty and didn’t have enough taste.
Their family style portions were too big and it just generated a lot of leftovers even after 20 people had eaten.
Overall, pretty overpriced food, (the summer ravioli pasta was good but the sauce was extremely bland and watery). Good drinks.
They also charged us for 25 people which was our initial estimate, even though only 21 of us were there. Might have been better to just walk in.
We had one large hiccup that was almost catastrophic, as our booking was almost LOST during a turnover of the restaurants manager, which honestly was shocking — however that is not reflected in my rating as I don’t believe that to be the fault of the restaurant as it is now. Just be sure to double/triple check reservations if you have made them far in advance!
I’m also taking 1 star off for atmosphere because although the decor and atmosphere of the main dining areas are fantastic, the party room in the back is quite barren/industrial by itself, so plan on decorating if that’s not your vibe!
Service was excellent! Everyone we spoke with absolutely excellent. All helpful, polite, and check in plenty. Lots of smiles were shared.
The Roasted Market Beet dish was succulent and delicious. The pizza’s crust is thin and a bit of flavor. Hobbs wonderful pepperoni and sausage what really makes Troop 80 shine!
We finished with lovely Pear Crostata with Pear Sorbet.
