Excellent food and great service! Shahrazad catered an event I attended years ago, and I’ve been wanting to go there ever since. I can’t wait to return once the buffet is open again, yum!!!

I was happy to see they went above and beyond regarding Covid precautions – our server wore a mask the entire time, and kept his distance from us when possible.

Everything on the menu is clearly marked vegetarian and gluten free when applicable, which is also helpful!

I had high hopes for this restaurant. I saw many good reviews and decided to try it. I ordered the chicken kabob. The chicken was amazing! Tender, juicy and well seasoned. The downside of my entree was that it was served with plain white rice. The rice had some spices and mint on top as well as saffron but was tasteless. The plain white rice was extremely disappointing. My entree came with lentil soup which was good. Other people in my party did not fully enjoy their food. Same plain, tasteless white rice accompanied their meals. One member of my party had lamb. While the lamb was not tough, it was extremely salty. The dish included grilled veggies and a red tomato sauce. The decor in this restaurant is extremely outdated as well as the bathrooms. I sat in a wooden chair that I thought was dry rotten and would collapse. The bathroom was clean but so outdated it appeared dirty. While the food was not awful, I was not happy to have spent almost 70 dollars and not be satisfied. I will not be returning and I don’t recommend going there.

This has been my favorite restaurant since I was 5. And when I say favorite, I’m mean favorite of all time. Always felt welcomed and the food quality has never declined. I also enjoy sharing the cuisine and experience with friends that have never tried this type of food.

There are two things everyone, and I mean everyone, like: good food, and affordable stuff. Nowadays especially, the combination of these two factors seems to be more drastic by the day. I’m happy to report, however, that this place absolutely defies the trend of good food being out of reach!

Shahrazad offers quite a selection for those who want great middle-eastern food on a tight budget. Ive had their Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, which is phenomenal, multiple times, which is my favorite, but they also have options if meat isn’t your forte, for one reason or another.

Affordability, especially in our modern day, is unfortunately waining and ceasing to exist as a concept. No longer is this the case. A filling meal, if you know what you’re doing, will run you anywhere from $9-$17, and believe me, one sandwich is enough.

Overall, if you’re craving middle-eastern, then look no further!

Delicious food, good service, lovely atmosphere (I did my best not to get up and dance to the music)!
What we ordered:
Lentil Soup: when they say “PERFECTION” in the menu description, they are not exaggerating! Creamy, savory, a touch of smokiness, if I have to die, dump me in a vat of this soup so I can drown in it.
Yalenjee: Not Greek dolmades! These grapeleaves are fried! AND SOOOO flavorful, packed with seasoned rice and yumminess. Squeeze the lemon over it, you will not be sorry.
SHAHRAZAD COMBO: which has a LOT, we split it between 2 “big eaters” and we couldn’t finish!
Kabob, tender with a nice charr
Kefta, THE STANDOUT STAR! we both loved this one, particularly with a little lemon on it
Taouk chicken was mildly seasoned with a hard char that gives you a real flame grilled, out in the country type feel
Shawirma, gently seasoned, perfectly cooked
Baklava: rich walnut filling and flaky pastry. I loved that this version was not dripping with syrup and oversweet. It was light on top and dense on bottom, not too spicy but you can taste the cinnamon. we also split one between us.
This was a very satisfying meal, we are already daydreaming about what we will order next <3

Service is good but the food is terrible… absolutely terrible. It is also expensive too… I ordered beef kabab and got 6 little pieces of beef for 16 dollars. Beef has some funny taste. Had to throw everything away because my stomach won’t allow me to swallow any of them done

Shahrazad catered my daughter’s birthday party and did an amazing job. Mohammad personally called me on his day off to discuss my order and clearly made sure that everything was perfect the day of. They included a ton of delicious food for a very reasonable price, and the only downside was that there were barely any leftovers because it was so delicious. Thanks so much guys!

First time trying last night and I didn’t have any issues. I had the chicken sharwama meal . It was dry to me but I ate it. My bread was literally came from the bag they bought the bread in. Red flag/I never had that happen before.

But my boyfriend had the gyro and the first red flag was how the meat looked compared to other spots, but he ate it anyway despite better judgement as he didn’t want to waste his money. He was throwing up last night after eating the gyro meal. We won’t be coming back sadly. I know things happen but yeaaaaaa no. Bad first experience
