Menu was short and sweet, thus it didn’t take long for me to decide my food. I had the Hokkaido croquette as appetizer. It had pumpkin filling and came in two pieces. They were fried perfectly and tasted good. I had the black garlic tonkotsu ramen in regular size (either regular or large) too. The broth didn’t have an aromatic black garlic flavor, but the noodles were cooked right.
They have daily deals placed on the tables, so do look out for them before ordering.
Parking lot is big and easy to get a parking spot.
Angelo, who took care of us, was very kind and attentive. Great service and great food. We’ll definitely be back!
The service was friendly and attentive, and the pacing of the meal was just right. My drink — light and refreshing — complemented the ramen perfectly, cutting through the spice and rounding out the meal.
Overall, this restaurant is more than just a spot for great ramen; it’s an experience that engages all the senses. From the stylish design to the bold, comforting flavors, it’s a place that reminds you why ramen is more than food — it’s a craft.
Hands down the best ramen spot in all of Houston — I can totally see why they have a Michelin star in Tokyo!
Karaage bun — soft, pillowy bun with perfectly seasoned, crunchy, juicy chicken and a delicious sauce.
Chicken ramen really stood out too. Clear, flavorful broth, fresh veggies, no funky chicken smell, and noodles that taste handmade. My wife got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu, and she said it reminded her so much of the ramen she had in Tokyo — rich and aromatic.
Naruto-themed décor was super cool, and the overall aesthetic plus the quality chopsticks really elevated the experience.
Service was fast, and the staff were courteous and honest with their recommendations.
Definitely worth the hype — I’ll be coming back for sure! ⭐
The atmosphere is very cute and thoughtfully put together. The decor gives it a cozy feel, and even the server attire adds to the overall aesthetic. It all feels intentional without being overdone. It’s also very clean inside, which I really appreciate.
Our server, Angelina, truly put it all together and was the cherry on top. Since it was my friends’ and my first time, she walked us through the menu and gave thoughtful recommendations after asking what we liked, which made ordering seamless. She was attentive throughout the meal, checking in regularly to make sure we were enjoying everything, but never in an intrusive way. I’ve had experiences where servers interrupt mid-conversation, but she had great timing and made us feel taken care of without feeling rushed or bothered.
