This place is so great! We live nearby but had never gone until yesterday, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly and kind, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting, with light Christmas music playing in the background. The garlic knots are the best around!
One thing I really appreciated is that the dining room is separate from the ordering area, so you’re not constantly dealing with the noise of people coming in and out. Overall, this is a must-go spot for both the food and the experience!

A Hidden Gem for NY-Style Pizza in Charlotte!
I ordered the cheese pizza slices and garlic knots, and WOW—this is the closest I’ve had to authentic New York pizza since moving to Charlotte! The pizza is a perfect 10/10—thin, cheesy, and flavorful just like back home. The garlic knots were amazing too, topped with real garlic pieces and fresh parsley. Absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere is cozy and homey, and the owners are super friendly. It was clean inside, and I love that they offer Pepsi products. You can dine in or take out, which is super convenient.
I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re craving real NY-style pizza in Charlotte, Joe Momma’s Pizza and Grill is the spot!

We have driven by Joe Mama’s for years and always said we wanted to try it but just never got around to it … until tonight. We ordered Joe Mama’s for delivery (through DoorDash) tonight and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and delicious. This pizza was perfectly balanced and not salty. The calzone was amazing. The garlic knots … THE GARLIC KNOTS!!! So good!! Also, their ranch is perfection.

This place has been here for a long time. So I decided to try it, it must be good. I ordered joe mama sloppy joe and chili cheese fries. My co-worker ordered the Philly and wings. The joe had raw onions and slaw. The chili cheese fries had the same meat on it as the joe. It was flavor less. Did not enjoy it what so ever. I didn’t eat all of it. My co-works food was the same. No flavor on his Philly cheese steak. The wings were a decent size but not worth the $10. The decor is older and the tables were older as well. Will not be coming back here again.

I ordered a club sandwich, what I got was a ham, turkey, bacon with lettuce and tomato sandwich. Someone at that restaurant needs to google club sandwich so they will know what a club sandwich is and it is never toasted!! I will never go back!!! A club sandwich Is not open to individual interpretation!!!!!
